What a gem! Wonderful food — made fresh onsite — and probably the best hot cocoa I’ve ever had. Formerly the Weyerhaeuser accounting office, today this is a fantastic eatery-drinkery built into a museum. If only I could give them six stars!

We’ve been to The Muse several times and always gravitate toward the speakeasy bar side. The cocktails are consistently delicious, and the bartenders are great about accommodating substitutions or custom requests. One visit we asked for tequila espresso martinis, and they happily made it happen.

We’ve sat both at the bar and on one of the couches, and both experiences were comfortable and enjoyable. The vibe is relaxed but elevated, and the service has always been attentive without being overbearing.

We’ve also stopped by the coffee bar side a couple of times, and the coffee has been great with a cozy seating area to match. Overall, The Muse is a spot we keep coming back to and would absolutely recommend.

If you’re anywhere near the waterfront in Everett, do yourself a favor and stop into The Muse. From the moment you walk in, the vibe feels intentional. Warm, stylish, and relaxed without trying too hard. It’s the kind of place that works for a low-key date night, meeting friends, or just grabbing a drink and unwinding after a long day.

The cocktails are the real standout: balanced, creative, and clearly made by people who care about what they’re serving. Nothing was overly sweet or watered down. Just smooth, well-built drinks with great presentation. The bartenders were friendly, quick, and knowledgeable, and they were happy to recommend something based on what we like.

And the location? Being right by the water adds that extra touch especially in the evening when the waterfront energy kicks in. Clean, comfortable, great service, excellent drinks, and a vibe you’ll want to come back for.

Wow! This place is so so cute! I went for coffee with a friend and loved the bright natural light coming from all the windows.

I can’t wait to try this place at night, for their whiskey hours. Would be such a vibe with the individual rooms and little nooks.

Seems like it could be really romantic and quiet at night.

But during the day, everything is bright, welcoming and very chic. Love love love.

The building’s architecture on the outside was so beautiful and then the inside was so aesthetically pleasing with the most immaculate vibes. Ordered a vanilla latte for there and it was brought out to me which was such a nice touch that I have never experienced in any other coffee shop before. Needless to say, the coffee was delicious and I was so relaxed while sipping and looking out at the marina. I will definitely be back again the next time I am in Everett.

A historic building that has been restored. In the morning its a coffee shop and at night a bar. It’s beautiful, it has seating available and conference rooms. Always good coffee and good service. The bar at night has a speakeasy 20s feel. Good menu to choose from. Highly recommend.

The Muse is beautiful and one of the most charming coffee places I have been. Seating can be limited. I ordered a hot chocolate and savory brioche (with cheddar and spinach) which were delicious. Spent $25 for 2 people (2 drinks and 2 food items), which for the quality and environment seemed quite reasonable.

I was looking for a special place to enjoy a café au lait on my birthday. The coffee was good. The atmosphere was fabulous. I can’t think of a better place to sip coffee on a winter day. The maple pecan scone is excellent.

Wonderful, cozy ambiance, lovely presentation, history sprinkled throughout, and a back patio to experience the water and (with proper timing) a sunset. Some unique cocktails (I tried the Old Fashion Infusion).

Pro tip: put your old fashioned in a tea cup and no one will know.

Such a great aesthetic of a place! Decor is giving luxury old granddaughter money! Its a nice place to take pictures too AND its a bar/cafe. I went during the cafe time and it’s soooo nicely placed by the water. Definitely worth a visit! Baristas were amazing people to converse with and super accommodating when I wanted my drink more sweet! Couldn’t recommend enough.
