I’m actually surprised that my review is going to be so low. I’m a long time fan of the Deuce, I usually bring clients by and friends that are visiting the area. I don’t know if they were just slammed last night or what, but it took forever to get our food. People who sat down after us were getting their food way before us and our first order of drinks at the table took about 20 minutes to get to us. When we finally got our food, not a thing was hot. The food was still good, my burger was super yummy, but it was just lacking heat. Unfortunately, my fries were nowhere near warm either, which was not great.

The new menu for dinner is not what it once was. I’m sad that it was shortened down to the extent that it was.

Food was pretty good. It’s become too busy to enjoy because everyone wants to sit there. I don’t blame them it fun to do and lots to watch. So many golfers coming in and missing their putts. A must stop though. And make sure you say hi to Larry at the front entrance!

Very tasty! Fast and friendly service. Rather informal and comfortable. Not very many options but the tacos were delicious. I would recommend highly!

The atmosphere is what made this place. Overlooking #18 green at Pinehurst #2 was awesome. Cheering for the golfers as they came in was exciting. The food and service was outstanding. Walking around the grounds after lunch in your bare feet just completed the experience. Highly recommend this place if you’re a golf enthusiast. You won’t be disappointed. You are at the #2 clubhouse so looking through there was cool and getting and Pinehurst merch you wanted was very easy.

The Duece in Pinehurst is a hidden gem that combines the charm of a classic bar with a modern twist. From the moment you step inside, you’re welcomed by a warm and inviting atmosphere, complete with rustic decor and cozy seating. The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between laid-back and vibrant, making it suitable for both casual hangouts and special occasions.

One of the standout features of The Duece is its diverse menu, which offers an impressive selection of craft beers, fine wines, and innovative cocktails. The bartenders are not only skilled mixologists but also passionate about their craft, always eager to recommend the perfect drink based on your preferences. Their signature cocktails are a must-try, showcasing fresh ingredients and creative recipes that will tantalize your taste buds.

The food menu is equally delightful, featuring a range of delicious options from appetizers to hearty entrees. The crispy Brussels sprouts and gourmet burgers come highly recommended, each dish crafted with quality ingredients and bursting with flavor.

Moreover, The Duece regularly hosts live music events and trivia nights, adding an extra layer of fun to your visit. The friendly staff ensures that you feel right at home, and they’re always attentive to make sure your experience is enjoyable.

Overall, The Duece is more than just a bar; it’s a community hub where good food, fantastic drinks, and great company converge. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this spot is definitely worth checking out!

Excellent service and outstanding food. Their new salmon wrap is amazing, and my favorite old standby, the BLT, is always great. Lovely views of the 18th hole.

Let me tell you the good things. The turkey club, the tater tots and cesar salad. That’s it. Although that’s what we got to eat. You have to make a reservation for what? It’s not fine dining. And if you don’t show up they charge you $25 per person. Again. For what. It’s a club house. Obnoxious golfers behind us a screaming 5 year old on the other side of us.
Why do restaurants insist on sitting a couple near all of this. We couldn’t even have a conversation. We should have sat outside. Our waiter never asked how things were. Never came back for refills. Host seemed like we were a bother. No smiles. And again I say you want to charge me $25 per person if I didn’t show up. I will not be back to this place except to get take out because the food was great.

The absolute star of the day was the Chi Chi Lee Margarita! I am forever chasing the best spicy or jalapeno margs. I think I’ve found the best ever at The Deuce! The heat on the front end was complemented perfectly with a smooth sweet taste at the end of each sip. It presented well with a cucumber slice and a salted rim. Perfection. We enjoyed a lovely lunch, with excellent attentive and friendly service. The specialty cocktail that my husband had was also among his favs. The food we had was satisfactory, but we would have liked a little kick and some vinegar/acid in the Carolina Caviar. The Deuce is worthy of a visit just to see the beautiful location and quality atmosphere, but we will return for sure to enjoy another set of my cocktails on the porch overlooking the green.
