Have had nothing but great food here. Never really had long waits dining in or ordering to go.

Had their patty melt this time. Simple but good. Everything was made fresh and didn’t take hardly any time.

I also recommend trying their empanadas if you can catch them while they’re available. Same for some other items on the menu. Things will be sold out/oos so just be prepared.

Great dogs with a snap!! Grilled buns and house made thin fries make a superb combo! If you’re Jones’n for a good hot dog, head for Uncle Al’s…….no disappointment here!
Did I mention the fantastic service?

I don’t claim to be a hot dog/sausage connoisseur, but I know what I like and I really liked the food here. The hot NY sausage had the perfect amount of heat and the chili just screams, “YOU COMPLETE ME!” My kids really liked the decor and thought it was the coolest place ever, they didn’t complain once about the wait (it was pretty busy for lunch). I also ordered the hamburger and the BBQ sandwich; the BBQ was surprisingly excellent, I didn’t know what to expect but it wasn’t something this good.

Best part is the employees are friendly and the prices are still more affordable than drive-throughs. I can’t wait to go back and try more food off their menu.

I’ve been visiting this location, formerly Famous Uncle Als, since i was a teenager. Food and service was always good. Since the new owner has taken over, the service has gone downhill. Went in today to have a quick hot dog before going home. The young guy drops my food off and while I am looking up from my doom scrolling to see what I have to assume is the male owner eating food, with gloves on. When I called out how nasty it was to the young guy dropping off my food, he just shrugged. I said something to the guy eating and he claimed he has to test the fries bc it is a new fryer. Asked me if I have ever worked in a restaurant….yep….30 years, most of that behind a grill, a year of that with the previous owner of FUA…never have I ever eaten in the kitchen, while preparing someone else’s food, especially with gloves on. He was rude and there was no need to be. Apologize, wash your hands, and be more careful.

Needless to say, there are plenty of small, locally owned restaurants I can support. No need to go to a place where the male owner is nasty.

Edit to respond:
My apologies. Picture on your Cuban specials menu looked very much like him so maybe a manager. I visited the location on Holland Road. He wore black glasses, bald, beard, heavy set, wearing all black.

This place was awesome, it has that dinner feel. The service was great and the food was delicious. The NY Hot Sausage and the Georgia Smoked Sausage hit the spot. It was my first time here, and it will definitely be in my restaurant rotation to hit up on the regular, I will be back for more!

Thank you for the yummy food, keep it up!

My wife and I are always on the hunt for a great lunch. And we found a great one here. Terrific hot dog, great snap when you bit into it, I had chili onion mustard with well done onion rings. Debbi had mustard and onions. We’ve already gone back again.
