Best fish and chips I’ve ever had! The malt vinegar powder was perfect, not making the fish soggy, and the tartar sauce was so delicious. Also got a Bloody Mary that was wonderful. So glad we stopped in here by chance! I’ll remember our time here and will recommend it to others.

My partner got their double smash burgers (he rated it 5/5).. I got their cafe burger with cheddar cheese and I also rate it 5/5..

Service was great and speedy! Highly recommend this when you’re on the island!

Didn’t try any food, but we had a great time getting cocktails at Cafe Hitchcock on Bainbridge before our ferry back to Seattle. Next time, we plan to try some of the food which looked awesome.

Pleasantly surprised by the food quality at this cafe. I’m not one to even go to cafes for lunch but the woman who owns the shop next door recommended it, and specifically the French fries, so my friend and I decided to try it out.
I honestly am not even a French fry person and these were absolutely PERFECT. The perfect amount of crispiness and softness and salt. Like, the kind of fries I wish everyone had, and places rarely do, which is why I don’t get them. I would even come back here just for these fries.
We also had some fall stew and a grilled cheese with tomato soup that was fabulous, but the fries stole the show
We added on to ours and got the truffle fries, which were perfectly seasoned (cause we all know you can have too much truffle). You can get plain as well if truffle isn’t your thing.
Go eat here for the fries and then enjoy some other incredible food too

Great service and the BEST grilled cheese and tomato soup I’ve ever had in my life. My husband got the fried chicken sandwich which was so crispy and juicy. Food was AMAZING!

Well, what can I say to start. If you’re looking for a nice cup of coffee, friendly service and good atmosphere, this isn’t the place to go. We ordered a drip coffee, chai latte, and cortado. The drip coffee was cold, when we asked for a new cup, we were given the same cup but they steamed it… and it was still luke warm. When asked to just get a fresh cup brewed, the baristas were very clearly annoyed and reluctantly brewed another batch after saying it would take some time (obviously.). When it was finally done 22 minutes later from time of receipt, they left it double cupped on the bar and didn’t say as to whose order it was. When we went up again to ask, were pointed to the cup. The cortado shots were also poorly pulled and very bitter, not indicative of the roast but the pull. The chai was fine. Also, don’t come here expecting a nice bathroom either. There is one single bathroom for all 3 venues, a long line, and not kept up. I get being busy but come on.

It was really busy so the service was a little slow but they were very nice. The food exceeded my expectations. Worth the price! I got the tomato soup which I can see might not be everybody’s cup of soup because it was more of a bisque. The house salad was amazing and not just your average boring house salad. They are also very accommodating with food allergies and preferences.

Stopped for lunch at Cafe Hitchcock on Bainbridge Island and was very impressed. Service was a bit slow but they were quick to communicate the expected delay. Food was delicious and fairly priced. Great wine selection as well. Will definitely make it a must stop in our future adventures on the island.

This place was great but aptly rated.
Pros:
– flavorful food
– good Irish coffee
– great atmosphere
Cons:
– slow service
– over cooked eggs
– Shakshuka should come with bread and not need to be ordered on the side
– took just as long to serve the coffee as it did the food
I would go again if I’m in the area but not a place I’m running back to. Over all, I wasn’t disappointed.

This place has good vibes and yummy food! I ordered the seasonal kombucha (rice wash kiwi) which was really good. I also ordered the garden bowl which isn’t marked as vegan, but I asked and they said it was! I was really happy with the veggies in the bowl and the flavors of everything. Could use a few more pieces of tofu but that’s ok. I would love to see a few more vegan items on the menu eventually.
