The atmosphere was great. The ambiance was upscale and elegant. The music was great. They played classic oldies like Stevie wonder and Michael Jackson. The serve Tammy was great. My fav cocktail was the old fashioned but the other cocktails were just okay which were the pomegranate margarita and the lemon drop. We had the caesar salad, garlic honey wings, and crab cake egg rolls for our appetizers. The only thing I enjoyed was the wings. For our entree we had the lamb chops and crab cake with sides like Mac n Cheese, creamed spinach, and asparagus. The food was alright but didn’t blow me away.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent takeout experience. I paid $82 for just this one plate that included a small portion of mac and cheese, a few pieces of broccolini, a crab cake that really looked more like a biscuit, and three small very overcooked lamb chops. For that price point, I expected quality, proper portions, and presentation — none of which matched the cost.
Additionally, I ordered crab stuffed lobster and instead received a dry, flavorless lobster tail split in half with a crab cake, that I almost must add was the absolute worst quality crab meat, and about one spoonful of rice. That is not what was ordered, and there was no communication about any substitutions.
To make matters worse, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to a pickup order, bringing my total to nearly $200. Automatic gratuity for takeout — especially when the order is incorrect and the portions do not justify the pricing — feels unreasonable.
For a restaurant charging premium prices, the execution and accuracy should reflect that. Unfortunately, this experience did not and I drove over an hour for this.

Came from DC to Baltimore with my sister’s and didn’t know many good restaurants, we like to eat good and saw this place on Google search near our location.
The Food was bussing! Love me some Lamb Chops. And the drinks were fantastic, love how filling the portions were. Our waitress was very nice and checking on us frequently. Definitely need to come go back 10 more times!

Let me start by saying this place is a bit misleading — the name is actually Proper Cuisine, not the old Papi’s Cuisine, and the quality definitely doesn’t live up to the brother name’s reputation.
I went for dinner over the weekend, and the whole experience was underwhelming. The restaurant was pretty empty, and the vibe was off — the music sounded like a CD stuck on repeat. There only seemed to be one waiter working, which showed in how slow everything was. We arrived around 8:15 p.m., and food didn’t start coming out until after 9:15. Dishes came out one at a time, which was strange, especially since my friend and I ordered the same thing — our plates arrived about 25 minutes apart. They also ran out of Caesar salad.
Now for the food:
• Mac and Cheese: 0/10 — completely undercooked. The cheese wasn’t melted, and it literally tasted unfinished.
• Brussels Sprouts: 0/10 — no flavor at all.
• Salmon Bites: 7/10 — these were actually decent, probably the best thing we ordered.
• Cheesesteak Egg Rolls: 2/10 — dry and disappointing.
• Crab Cake Egg Rolls: The crab itself was good, but the egg rolls were overcooked, tiny, and definitely not worth the $12 price tag.
The drinks were just okay — nothing special, and after the meal we barely wanted to finish them. Honestly, by the end, we just wanted to leave.
Overall, between the slow service, uneven pacing, and low-quality food, I wouldn’t recommend this spot. It’s a shame because the sister brand, Proper Cuisine, clearly isn’t delivering the same standard anymore. Definitely won’t be back.

This was my first time going and overall had a good experience. Destiny was my waitress and she was AMAZING. Gave suggestions and made sure everything was to our liking. The entire staff was friendly and inviting. Only two issues the brussels were not cooked well enough so they were hard. Second they advertise bottomless cocktails and you get an hour in a half to order but it took over 20 minutes in between drinks so it kind of ate up our time to really enjoy that special. Overall the experience was nice. I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere.

This was my first time coming in, and I have to say Rashad and Mimi were absolutely exceptional. As someone who manages nearby, I pay close attention to service, and they truly stood out. They were welcoming, professional, attentive, and genuinely friendly from start to finish.
It’s always refreshing to experience service that feels authentic and not forced. They made a great first impression and created an atmosphere that makes you want to return.

Saturday afternoon, came for the jerk lamb chops and received! Mimi was an amazing server. The throwback rnb playlist was perfect to set the tone! We had the fried salmon bites and crab cake egg rolls as appetizers. For entrees, surf and turf fries and honey jerk lamb chops (medium well) with Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts. Everything was amazing!! Thank you ☺️
