Very generous portions and very reasonably priced. Pictured are two servings of garlic naan and malai momos. The mutton nihari came with a side of rice. Their mumtaz chicken is an absolute crowd favourite and a must order. As a student, both my stomach and heart are full!

Got takeout on a weekday evening. The place was quiet, but the ambiance inside is amazing. Was pretty much a colorful Indian street scene with signs, posters, wires strung across the ceiling, and even fake crows perched up top. The gobi manchuria was very good, but the chole bhature was too greasy for me. Food was also on the pricier side. I’d come back just to sit inside and soak in the ambiance.

Ambience is highlight, very thoughtfully decorated to give old chandni chowk vibes. Food was good overall, lakhpati chaat and matka chai were amazing! Aslan chicken was good but little Salty. Parking was easy

Chandni Chowk is not just a restaurant serving delicious food, but also a nostalgic experience that transports you to the desi streetside Dhabas of North India.

✅️ Veg & Non-Veg options
✅️ Located in Fremont, Santa Clara & Milpitas

✅️ We tried the following:

✨️ KULHAD CHAI – One of the best chai I’ve had in the Bay Area. Includes sugar and spices in perfect proportion
✨️ PANEER TIKKA MASALA – I loved the paneer sizes and the balance between softness & crispiness
✨️ PANI PURI – Excellent presentation and unique blend of two water flavors
✨️ CHOLE KULCHA – Stuffed kulcha was fulfilling and perfectly roasted in the tandoor. Chole were quite delicious too. It’s a complete meal in itself
✨️ SOYA AACHARI CHAAP – Served with Garlic Naan, this is a New Introduction to their vegetarian menu which also has a non-veg variant available

Have been to their spot in Santa Clara and keep DoorDashing them from time to time.
This time gave them a visit for dinner with friends. There were 11 of us. The folks here quickly arranged a table for us. We were meeting to celebrate a birthday in the group. The staff helped stash the cake for us too.
The live pani puri is the spotlight. This is something that takeout cant give full justice. They have a variety of pani flavors some of which my kids really liked.
All our food was brought out in time and the staff was helpful throughout the dinner.
Also, the ambience of this place brings out the 90’s nostalgia which is a bonus.

Newly opened, best bhature till date in Bay area, you get the delhiwala style kala chole and the bhature was nice and fluffy. Dahi puri was very good, nice and cold dahi and chutneys and the imli chutney was really good. We took noodles, Manchurian and chaap to go. Overall, all the food is good, there is more variety as compared to the food truck in Fremondelhiwala

I visited the place with my bro and husband after having low expectations from the fremont one but can very well say that the food and the atmosphere of the place pleasantly surprised me. The entry has a decorated rickshaw and the inside wall posters definitely bring in a nostalgic vibe to the place. Definitely instagrammable. We ordered both starters and main course. The chana bhatura and rajma chawal definitely gave us the Delhi feels while the chicken chow mein reminded us of the flavor from the Indian streets back in the days!! However, the chilli potato was a dismal dish and I hope they improve on the crispiness and the cut size of the potatoes. I will very much prefer visiting the milpitas location again rather than the other ones. Also I found the customer service really great!! A must visit.

We had a wonderful dinner at Chandni Chowk in Milpitas, and it truly felt like a flavorful journey back to Delhi’s iconic Chandni Chowk. The highlight of our meal was the Bihari Kebab — absolutely mouthwatering! The rich spices, smoky flavor, and tender texture were unforgettable. If you haven’t tried it yet, you’re missing out — a must-try dish that captures the essence of authentic Delhi street food.

Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving real North Indian flavors. Wah Chandni Chowk!

Came here on a Saturday afternoon for a large family gathering and were promptly seated.

We were attended to by Asis and Vasant who were both absolutely excellent, kind and helpful in making recommendations and taking care of the table.

We had a wide age range and we were able to order food to different levels of spice for children vs adults.

The food was delicious. The non-veg kababs are slower to come out, so please keep that in mind when ordering. The BBQ chicken dish was creamy and very very rich, served with a nice onion achaar and rumaali roti. The bihari lamb kabab was perhaps one of my favorites, served with a bihari kachori that I’ve never tried before.

Kids loved Paneer Tikka masala, chole bhature also excellent. Chaat was great too, though albeit different than what we’re used to as it didn’t have potato/chole in it.

For dessert, I’ve added a picture of both the gulab jamun cheesecake and the gulab jamun rabdi which were both excellent to try! The cheesecake is definitely more on the American style of desserts if that’s what you’re craving vs the the rabdi was a nice twist on a traditional dessert.

Parking was easy, restrooms were clean.

My only recommendation would be to perhaps create a more detailed menu including descriptions of each dish to make it easier for the customer to understand what is in it and what it’s like, as we had to inquire about most of the dishes we were ordering.

And as mentioned, decor is very well done and super fun. Don’t find many places like this here. Actually felt like India

We look forward to coming back again soon!

I haven’t eaten better rajma chawal in bay area yet. And their noodles take you back to that one indo chinese thela you loved in India. Amazing decor, very old school. The place is clean and their staff and service is great too.
