I like this place. It is cozy and intimate. Not a fancy place. And that is the vibe I want for a Sunday brunch with my husband. Service is outstanding, a shout out to the welcoming, and attentive Axel our server. Food is yummy. We had the Suzzette’s Benedict and quiche Loraine. Both are really creamy and tasty. And they both come with a small fruit salad and a petite size croissant. Will return again.

I’ve visited this quaint little French bistro many times over the years, for brunches, lunches, Christmas teas, sometimes with company and sometimes happily solo, and I’m delighted to say they’ve truly elevated their game. There’s a quiet pride in the air now, a sense that the place knows it has blossomed.
Today’s tea service was an absolute treat: elegant, cozy, and full of small delights that made the whole experience feel like a gentle exhale. Every morsel was beautifully balanced, from the crisp, refreshing cucumber canapés to warm flaky scones to the indulgent sweets served with a bright sherbet to cleanse the palate. The pumpkin soup was exquisite, velvety and comforting, and the trio of teas were brewed with the care of someone who respects the leaves.
Service was excellent: friendly, attentive, warm without being intrusive, exactly what a tea service deserves.
This is a special time of year at Suzette’s, when you step in from the cold and are welcomed into a space that feels elegant, glowing, and lovingly kept, a perfect little escape, wrapped in French charm and good company.
Oh, and don’t leave without taking a few of their goodies home… I will surely enjoy mine during the next few days

Terrible experience. Went for Sunday brunch. I’m going to preface this review with the fact that my friend and I have both waited tables and we understand that issues happen, but this was ridiculous.
The server took a very long time to come to our table, bus boy didn’t even come over to fill our water glasses for quite a while. They were moderately busy, but not crazy busy.
My friend ordered steak and eggs and there was a hair in the steak. When they remade the meal, the steak was rare instead of the originally requested medium.
No one really seemed to care about the issues with the meal — barely apologized for either problem. We had to ask to have the item comped off the check.
This was my first time trying this place and I probably won’t go back. Honestly, its a cute little place and the food we were able to eat, our salads and my French scrambled eggs, were good, but the overall experience was really negative, unfortunately.

Wow, what a quaint little establishment. my wife and I started going to Suzettes several months ago on Saturdays after we went to the Wheaton French Farmers Market. we usually have our little dog with us so we are always on the look out for outside seating. Wheaton, closes off one of the streets for diners so we walked by Suzettes and noticed the table and chairs outside! It is ideal place for us to sit and have breakfast. We went there most of the spring and summer Saturday’s and several of the fall. The food has been superb and the service given is the same quality as the food! Never did we have to wait long for any meal we were served. Very attentive staff to your needs. I have been eating at restaurants for over half a century and has been very difficult to recommend any restaurant due to their lack of consistency and lack quality. Suzettes is the exception that rarely comes around these days! Highly recommended! My wife and daughter went their last Saturday for the Holiday Tea, they both loved it!

What an amazing experience! Our group went yesterday for a late lunch and had Kevin wait on us. The restaurant has coziness and warmth of a real French bistro. Kevin guided us through the menu making recommendations based upon the two wines we were drinking. He is obviously very knowledgeable about pairing which really made our luncheon very special. Our group shared everything. We started with the crab cakes which have a bit of unexpected spiciness, so delicious! The coconut shrimp which were HUGE and extremely tender. The mains were so good, for me the pork Normandy was my favorite, with a delicious cream sauce and apple topping. The salmon was also incredible, perfectly cooked with a delicate mustard sauce. After all of that we managed to snarf down the chocolate cream brûlée and a brownie for dessert. What an absolute delight Suzette’s is, and new favorite!

Had lunch arrived around 11:30. The restaurant is very pretty and you immediately feel good as the atmosphere was delightful. They have a fresh bakery counter with baked goods including quiche to take home. They have a large selection of gelato as well. My friend ordered the chicken sandwich and I ordered the spinach /cheese crepes. They said on the menu it would take 20 minutes minimum for the crepes. The drinks we ordered came pretty slow but the food came up pretty quickly. It was delicious. I couldn’t find any faults. We both ordered a broccoli cheese quiche to go for $28 each. The reason I gave a low score for service was it took a long time to get our check , she never checked it with us at our table and charged us for the wrong order. We had to get it straightened out and then she forgot to get us our gift certificate we had bought as we had to come back into the restaurant to obtain it. It was a bit of a hassle to check out. The food was fabulous and the restaurant was beautiful. Service was off today…..

The macaron was very clearly cracked and the girl chose specifically that one to give us. A failed macaron like that shouldn’t be for customers anyway for $2.75. The lemon meringue was also cracked.

Got the shrimp and coconut crepe and it was delicious! The atmosphere is very quiet and charming and service was immaculate. Love the subtle flavors in the food and really well worth the honestly not very expensive price

Come here yearly for the Christmas tea. The menu cards this year were a nice visual. Very limited options for those with celiacs or pescetarian – would love to see a heartier option. Seating extends outside the decorated room with live music for Christmas tea and you don’t get as much service/tea or the ambiance if you are sat out of the way which is a drastically different experience than in the main room.

First time visiting the restaurant for tea time. It was a huge disappointment. There were 3 courses. First was the savory, 2nd was the scones and third was the dessert. The savory consisted mostly sandwiches. The sandwiches were lacking of flavor, the breads were stale. The sandwiches didn’t taste fresh, the breads were crumbly. Our group only enjoyed the quiche from the savory dish. The dessert was such a disappointment. None tasted good. Flavor didn’t match the Christmas theme. So amateur taste and presentation, even homemade desserts tasted better than what they served.
The only dish that we enjoyed was the scones.
If you have been to a restaurant that serves REAL tea time, you know this one is a disappointment. Check out Peninsula Hotel or Russian Tea Room in downtown Chicago for a REAL tea time experience.
I would NOT recommend this restaurant for tea time at all.
