We checked out Bafang Dumpling for the first time last week and were pleasantly surprised. The potstickers and the pork chop with braised pork belly rice are really good. The price is very reasonable. The hot and sour soup is not sour enough, a bit sweet for my taste. There’s sauce station to dunk your signature pot stickers in. The wonton soup that comes with #2 is also quite good. They also sell frozen dumplings. I’ll try the Taiwanese beef noodle soup next time. Will definitely return.

The food was decent, I really appreciated the noodles dish, a flavor combination I’d never had before. The low rating is because the tray my meal was served on was disgusting! The tray was covered in a sticky surface that was noticeable to the eye, this is unacceptable and unfortunate.

tried the dumplings and potstickers; the potstickers were better and my favorite. i wish they were a bit crispier on the outside. also would be much better if they served actual chili oil or soy sauce. they only had a chunky salsa type chili, that didnt pair well with the food like a chili oil does imo.

update: brought my own chili oil and the potstickers were yummy with it

first time at a Taiwanese fast food place. probably the best was the pork sauce with rice, pork cutlets. the dumplings and pot stickers were bld and there were plenty of sauces to enhace.

The place is clean and vibrant but I was not greeted for about 5 mins. I had a pick up order to be ready in 10mins, and I had to wait 30mins wasting the majority of my lunch break. They did not communicate properly about the wait or check in with me, let alone offer anything to drink while I wait like most places. Lastly, although the food tasted good, the dumpling were falling apart before I even got to them. Would not recommend this location.

Pleasantly surprised! Good food and great value. Ordered Combo #3 (corn chowder, potsticker, dumpling) combo #8 (old fashioned noodles, pork chop), and you can mix your own sauces (black vinegar, sesame, garlic sauce, and soy sauce). Enjoyed eating the potstickers with soy sauce, and dumpling with a garlic/sesame sauce mix. Wish this place was here when I used to work in the mall. Cannot emphasize great value enough.

This here are freshly made dumplings and they are tasty. For the price that one is paying and the flavorful food, this place is a bargain. It is not accessible from the inside of the Cerritos Mall. It is in the Macy’s side of the mall from the street side.

Honestly, Bafang Dumpling is a great place to come and try something new and savory every time. This is a CASHLESS restaurant, so be prepared to pull that credit/debit card out. I tried the spicy beef noodle soup and the new wontons they had, and both were great! I wasn’t sure how spicy the spicy beef noodle soup would be, so the cashier/server was very helpful in offering the chili on the side, which I appreciated so much (thank you!) At first glance, the serving size is intimidating for the beef soup because the shape of the bowl is HUGE. But it’s a perfect dish for 1-2 people ( 1 if you’re hungry, 2 if you want to share). The beef in the soup was nice and tender, easy to eat, and break into smaller bite-sized pieces. The broth was PACKED with flavor, and the green onion was a great addition to the dish. And of course, the noodles were not too thick and absorbed a lot of the broth’s flavor. The wontons were crispy and not at all greasy, which was great because it balanced out with the soup. They were about 6-7 (don’t remember the exact amount) and were bite sized. They came with a sweet sauce dip on the side and were nice to eat in between having my noodle soup. I’ve added pictures to help. I would rate this place a solid 10/10. Service was great, the environment is relaxing and chill, they give you a little beeper that alerts you when your food is ready to pick up, and they have condiments you can choose to take with you like soy sauce, sesame oil, asian chili, and black soy sauce, in these little to-go ramekins next to the condiment table.

Awesome dumplings, crispy and fresh. Does not take that much time. Welcoming interior design. Good spot to stop by when you visit the mall.

Another location of Bafang Dumplings that I found was as delicious as the other location I went. Their combo set is really worth it. It’s like $15 something but very full and healthy too! Outside the combo, there is the beef noodle which was super good.
