Visited this steak restaurant for the first time and had a pretty decent overall experience. The service was attentive and friendly, making us feel welcome right from the start. The presentation of the food was impressive – everything came out looking well-prepared and thoughtfully plated.
As for the food itself, the taste was okay – not mind-blowing, but not disappointing either. One thing to note is that the meat had quite a bit of sauce on it, which might not be to everyone’s liking. Some may find it a bit overpowering, depending on personal preference.
Despite that, I’d still recommend giving this place a try, especially for the service and presentation. It’s worth checking out at least once if you’re in the area.

BOURBON ST. RICE NOODLE BOWL would be better with cream sauce. The chicken parmesan sauce was excellent and chicken was ok. Clam chowder soup very good. Bread was very good with dipping. The waitress needs to seat everyone AWAY FROM other people, DONT seat everyone in one spot. The place is large, I don’t like 20 people in one spot and the other 3/4 of the restaurant is empty. Spread the people all around so that we don’t have to hear everybody else talking hearing their conversation.

Our group was seated in the board room. Service was 100% the best I’ve had in a long time. Our group was large and the staff did their job efficiently and we’re very friendly. My entrée was great. Everyone else said their was good too, some issues with dry salmon.

The food presentation was great, all dishes were great (minus my pork rib eye being tough and a bit dry) over all it was a fantastic experience for my family. Portions are large we brought home plenty for lunch tomorrow. I didn’t catch our waiters name but he was awesome even though I’m sure we don’t look like the typical family who would eat there. <3 I would go again... but I will order something other than the pork next time.

Always good and service is great! My wife and I came for her birthday. We had our 1 year old along and he was not a polite dinner guest! Loud and obnoxious and most 1 year olds are. Our server (wish I had gotten her name) was patient and took great care of us. We forgot to grab the boxed food as we were leaving and she chased our car down right as we were leaving the parking lot. The bistro has been a staple of our community for as long as I can remember. My parents came here for their birthdays and anniversaries and my family is carrying on the tradition. I love this restaurant! It means a lot to us!!

The food was good, the atmosphere was good, and my lunch date was very charming. Stacy was our food hostess and did a superb job making the lunch special. The kitchen is also very skilled in what they do and I can’t recommend this restaurant enough.

Bistro 1100 has been my go-to in Bismarck for years. The atmosphere is always warm and inviting—equally great for family dinners, nights out with friends, or business meals. The staff are consistently professional, attentive, and truly go the extra mile to make sure your needs are met. The menu offers a wonderful variety and every dish I’ve tried has been excellent. I’m grateful for the reliable, high-quality experience they provide—Bistro 1100 is a true staple of the Bismarck community, and I look forward to many more visits.

Nothing spectacular about the food we ate. I didn’t like the big chopped stalks of asparagus in my creamy pasta.
Our server was slow in hearing and understanding our orders which is interesting considering the place was quiet when we came in. She had to come back and ask my son three times what drink he wanted. She also had to ask twice what desserts we wanted. One of the crew had to help her put the order in.
I always like the lobster bisque here and the appetizers are usually good. Dinner menu is rather underwhelming. The desserts could do a little finesse.

We ordered from the special menu: seared duck and salmon with Thai curry sauce. Both were delicious!! I don’t have this very often but it was an amazing party in my mouth. Yes, that good! Haha. Creme brulee was a little burnt and tasted a little bitter but still good overall. Our server was very pleasant too. And the restaurant has a nice ambiance. Great for date nights, small or big family dinners, or even friends night out.

Enjoyed the quesadilla before the meal. The chicken entree was really delicious. I did not enjoy the French crepes. Nowhere in the description did it state it would arrive hard as a rock and frozen solid. I told the server and she agreed it was horrible but didn’t offer anything else. She took away the barely eaten dessert and I still had to pay for it. Such a bummer since the rest of the meal was so good.
