Very busy little spot. Delicious sandwiches! I got the tuna which was a little salty but still wonderful and my husband got the Cuban which was amazing. Great draft beer selection and they have a cute little patio to eat at. We will definitely be back!

Great sandwiches and fast service. The sandwich bread here is a very unique focaccia with great flavor and all of the other ingredients were super fresh and tasty. Sandwiches are ~$20 each but you get a good amount of food so the value isn’t bad. We did take out but it looked like there was plenty of space to dine in as well.

Really good sandwich! The bread is fantastic and you can tell all the ingredients are extremely fresh even down to the crispy lettuce. A little on the pricier side but very tasty. We shared the Italian. Check it out if you can

Bread Head in Manhattan Beach is incredible. The sandwiches are delicious, the bread’s perfect, and everything tastes super fresh. The BLT was gorgeous, and the fresh lemonade was perfect. Staff were lovely and service was fast. Such a great find.

The sandwiches were very delicious. I got the BLT and the Combo Grinder. The BLT was very good. The bacon was very crispy and flavorful. The mayo and lettuce was fresh and a nice touch. Both breads were very good and I love sourdough and it tasted very good. The combo grinder was also very good. The roasted peppers and pepperpncini added a nice touch and the meat was very tasty.

The staff was very nice and they brought your order to you after your order. They also were very attentive in taking what you already finished off your plate or space. The space is very cool and the atmosphere is very chill. It’s an open space concept with patio seating for the vibes. The decor is very neat also.

There is lots of seating whether you want a table or a bar seating to chill. I want to come back to try their Calabrian turkey and turkey pesto. I’m glad they opened up a location in the south bay to enjoy.

een seeing this spot on Instagram and finally gave it a try for lunch. It was packed on a Saturday afternoon, and our sandwiches took about 30 minutes to come out. Prices are on the higher side ($16 for the combo grinder, $14 for the roast beef), and from the photos online I expected the sandwiches to be bigger, but I still managed to finish mine.

The combo grinder is definitely the winner, super flavorful and delicious. The roast beef wasn’t bad and I liked the horseradish, but compared to the combo grinder it felt a little bland. Ingredients were fresh, the bread was great (though a bit tough, my jaw got a workout).

Overall, tasty sandwiches, fresh ingredients, and worth trying again, especially for the combo grinder.

I had the tuna sandwich and my husband had the turkey — both were absolutely delicious! The portions are huge — a whole sandwich could easily be split between 4 people. It’s well balanced with the fresh lettuce salad, which makes it even better. Great spot if you’re hungry or looking to share!

I did my research about places to try in LA and bread head was one of the suggested ones.
We got to manhattan beach today around 10:30 and saw a line of 2/3 people outside the restaurant (I thought that’s a great sign).

We ordered to sandwiches for take out (muffaletta and turkey pesto) as we were going to eat it at the beach.
I was so exited to eat them given the fact that there was a line before they opened.

My sandwich had a brown hair in it… I am blond and my friend has black hair.
At first I thought it might have flew in, after all we are in the open. As I stared pulling on it, I realize it was IN the sandwich.

Absolutely disgusting…
threw out the rest of the sandwich. Waste of my money.

Videos and photos attached.

Sandwich eatery with good bread and variety of combinations. Came here with a friend for dinner on a weeknight after taking a stroll and came here as we’ve had the place bookmarked for a while. I ordered the mozzarella sandwich (vegetarian friendly) and I really liked it. The half serving was already more than enough for me (and they also cut it into two pieces). I would say that the bread is better fresh so if possible, dine-in rather than takeout would be the move. The employees were all very friendly and nice. You pay first and then they’ll bring out your order. Indoor and outdoor seating available.

Dined in for a quick lunch since we are a fan of the Santa Monica location. Got the muffuletta and turkey pesto half sandwiches and a great portion for two people. The Arnold Palmer was light and sweet but not too sweet. Great for take out to hang on the beach or good ambiance in their dine in area! Love the orange tile backsplash on the bar. Great opening weekend!
