We came for the first time at the beginning of the month and it was incredible from start to finish.
The Christmas decorations were really something, and the restaurant was really busy. We loved the bag of popcorn to munch on that was waiting on the table for us too!
The service we received was fast, attentive, and the food -well. We are still telling everyone about it! Very grateful that we could box it up and take it home – the portion sizes are very generous and it’s too yummy to leave behind!
Absolutely will be returning, the whole menu MUST be sampled .

Great place and service. Very busy, car park is full. We had table booked for 2 of us. Spent just under 2 hrs for £90+. Most cars gone by time we left. Some meat flavours wasn’t what I was expecting compared to other American places though. It was my first time here and I still enjoyed it for somewhere nearby and service.

Yes it was busy but when you have someone looking after your table that’s not what you expect, especially with a £11.00 Tip.

Just for reference our bill came to £158.00 for family of 4 (13/24) and that was with myself just having a starter.

Lovely place! Probably didn’t help we went on NYE where it was extremely busy but we sat at the table at 6:15pm and then as we were served and still had dirty plates in front of us until around 9pm, I had to go up to the manager to ask politely if we could order some dessert. We weren’t a nuisance at all, we had just been sat for a long time with no extra drinks order taken, and our empty plates in front of us just waiting to get served.
I understand it was incredibly busy, but I did need to ask twice for service by leaving the table. It’s a shame because the food was lovely, the atmosphere was vibing, loud obviously on a busy evening but as expected.
I was more than happy to stack plates and help the staff having worked in hospitality prior, but I found it slightly off that we hadn’t seen anybody to take plates in about an hour and a half after finishing food, but they were taking other orders around us.
Overall, food was great but expect the ribs to not necessarily fall off the bone, they’re very good but they’re moreso like a Chinese takeaway rib. I think I would prefer the brisket next time if we do go again. Chips were nice and crispy and the bourbon sauce on the ribs was delicious. I didn’t care much for the pickled onion on the side, tasted quite sour but the coleslaw itself was tasty.
As mentioned, I think if you went on a day where it wasn’t NYE then you’d be seen to a lot quicker, but it was just a shame we were sat in the back and essentially forgotten about at times.

Our first time visiting and it was absolutely delicious!! The starter of garlic pretzels and cheese sauce was SO GOOD alongside our carnivore platter and hot honey burnt ends fajitas.
Our server Joshua was on his first shift at the tester and you wouldn’t even know. He was so confident, welcoming and provided really good service, so thank you!

this place absolutely smashed it. me and my friend both ordered the 16 hour smoked brisket and i am not exaggerating when i say it changed our lives. it literally melted in your mouth, zero effort chewing, just unreal. the bbq sweet sauce gravy situation was a solid 10 out of 10 and the house slaw was perfect with it, fresh and balanced, not an afterthought.
prices were actually really decent for the quality and the menu itself is so fun. service was spot on, friendly and efficient, and the food came out way quicker than expected. the atmosphere was such a vibe too, with really cute festive decorations that made it feel warm and relaxed. and the free popcorn when you sit down? elite move. honestly such a good experience from start to finish and we’d go back in a heartbeat.

Have been to one of the chain up north and loved it and so happy when they opened one in Swindon. Food was fantastic exactly what I was expecting and more. Came out quick and was all to a high standard even though the restaurant was packed. Service was amazing, chatty happy servers. Decor was also good and have obviously done a lot to turn the older place into a smoke house vibe. Would highly recommend for a treat date night.

I recently visited Hickory, and it was a memorable experience! The ribs, sausage, and pork belly were incredibly tender and well-cooked falling off the bone, and the flavours❤️.
I also tried the grape soda, which perfectly paired with the meal—it was so nice.
If you’re in the mood for some sticky hands coz of barbecue, I highly recommend Hickory. It’s a place you won’t want to miss!

We recently had some bad experience in another restaurant which upset my parents alot so I decided to bring them out for another meal. I’m so pleased that I made a good decision this time Staffs were extremely friendly and helpful. The food and coffee were simply perfect. The experience just made us having a good start in 2026. Hope all your staffs stay healthy and happy.
