I was craving a meatball sub for lunch . I always liked d’angelos meatballs, and was looking forward to the sandwich. I hadn’t gotten a sub from them for quite some time. I’m not sure if they changed their meatballs but the sub was horrible . Although I have never eaten dogfood , the sub tasted like what I would think dogfood tastes like. The taste , the after taste , the consistency of the meat was just terrible. I couldn’t eat the sub , I’m thinking they probably went with a lower grade meat for more of a profit . I did go with a higher mark on service and atmosphere, but i ordered online and just picked up the order on the rack , so I didn’t really interact with anyone .. was in and out so the overall rating is for the food itself .

Looking for a good local deli…. And this place was a complete disappointment when it comes to what they are known for. In addition to the most average Italian club I have ever had, they use bread that makes a mess and doesn’t make up for it in taste. This was basically a lettuce sandwich

Worst sub ever had. Avoid this place like herpes. Do not go here, waste of money. Got lg steak and cheese. It was almost empty, just a sub roll and what little the was, was disgusting. I will never eat at dangelos again. Any of them. Brutal, gross. Would give 0 stars if i could. I would like a refund. Also tons of little flys at the booth i was in

Nice subs. We love to get the lobster when it’s in season. It’s served in a toasted bun and the amount of lobster is generous. Yup, it’s not there cheapest in on the menu but it does satisfy our craving for this when we’re in New England!
Restaurants are typical fast food bench seating. Subs made to order so you may have to wait a bit, especially if at lunchtime.

I hadn’t been to D’Angelo’s in years and thought I’d drop in. I ordered a meatball sub which was ok but the meatballs are mostly bread crumbs now. I also ordered a caesar salad which was horribly wilted and had to throw away. I couldn’t believe they even sold such a wilted salad and waste of $7! Suggest you skip and eat lunch elsewhere.
