Mudlark Café has such a cute atmosphere. They sell handmade items along with coffees, teas, pastries, and deli-style foods like sandwiches, salads, and cheeses. They also have a menu you can order from.
The baked goods are always fresh and delicious. The breakfast croissant and bagel were really good — just be prepared, they are definitely on the buttery/oily side… but they tasted great.
The coffee is where it’s at. Excellent flavor, and they have a good variety of flavored syrups including sugar-free options. They also offer ciders, teas, and energy drinks — such a wide drink selection.
There are several seating options, plus games in the shop you can play. There’s also a back door patio area that overlooks the ball field, which is a nice touch.
Staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and they have a drive thru.

A jewel in our small town. Overlooking Small Goose Creek. I stopped in on a whim and was greeted warmly and made to feel at home. Mudlark offers a variety of coffees, teas, confectioneries, and sandwiches in a spacious dinning area. The cinnamon muffins are a must, paired with a maple frothy coffee if you enjoy rich delights. There is a patio that overlooks the creek – serene and peaceful.
Mudlark also has a drive thru alongside the parking lot. Great place to spend a gentle morning.

Came in for a quick lunch break and was pleasantly surprised. Very friendly staff, very good food, and a wonderful patio outside on the river where you can eat your lunch 🙂 We had the pulled pork with Korean BBQ! Very yummy! They also have very good coffee!! Mudlark is such a cozy vibe. Think like the visit with an old friend. Just a great place to take it easy and enjoy your time. The food and drinks are so delicious. I feel like it’s an adventure bingo where I just need to try it all. The sandwiches are super tasty, and you can ask for them hot like a panini. The pastries are absolutely to die for! The teas are very flavorful and unique. Much more variety and better tasting than anything I’ve had at Starbucks. The energy drink options provide a great boost of energy that tastes great without a sugar crash. The seasonal menu is a fun surprise for every season. If what you want isn’t on the current menu, they will for sure find it and make it for you! They’ll also make custom flavors too. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting and definitely a great place to get some work done. The bathrooms are always stocked and clean. When you dine in, food items are served on real plates. Sounds simple, but it keeps the food warmer longer and gives such an elegant feel. Also- the staff are super friendly and always down for a friendly chat.

The hard work that went into this new place is obvious, but the love that is invested can only be known when you talk with the owner… if you get the chance to talk with her. She’s always back in the kitchen making everything with a little extra love.

I had to write a review about the staff! All of them are always so inviting and friendly.They make you feel like family when you are in there.
And the variety of food and desserts is wonderful.
But the beverages they make blow any other coffee stand out of the water!
This is the place to go!! Jenny is the owner and she does such a magnificent job and is put a ton of work into mudlark.

They offer a delicious variety of food and drink options. Jenny and the staff are always glad to assist and greet you with a smile on their face. Atmosphere is perfect for enjoying a good book, game of cards or just sitting down and enjoying a delicious espresso and fresh out of the oven cinnamon roll!
