Our story began in 2008 inside a 160sq ft drive – thru in Beaverton, Oregon. Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to the grey PNW mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful – a place where coffee could fuel connection.

Pretty good blackrock when they’re open. Staff is friendly and helpful every time. I’ve pulled up around 30 minutes until close a few times now and the open sign is off with nobody around. It really stinks to drive 10 miles expecting them to be open only to find out they aren’t open during their posted hours.

This place might be a bit difficult to get to for semis but today I was a bobtail, so I had no problem. Awesome, friendly staff who are willing to spend time explaining their different drinks. I got a large vanilla latte with soy and 10 pumps of syrup. The coffee flavor is bold but not bitter. We also got a XL mint chip frozen blended coffee which was delicious! They also offer a variety of small food items as well.
I absolutely love that there’s a walk up area as well!

Amazing love ❤️ their coffee and service, feel bad they have one person at i time for opening and closing so those hours take i bit longer cause they always have a long line cause like I said great coffee and service ♡ but just wanted to say so your patient and maybe they will change their policy to make it easier on employees and faster for customers

The brunette with shoulder length hair needs an attitude adjustment. You took my order, I was very specific I wanted soft top not whip crème. When I asked for it to be corrected she was very dismissive and had an attitude. If I’m paying almost 7 dollars for a coffee I want it the way I ordered it not the way you want to prepare it. Hope her manager sees this. She may need additional training in how customer service works.

I usually go out of my way to get Black Rock because it’s my favorite coffee, but this location was a major disappointment. I typically order from the Salem store, but we were nearby and decided to try this one. If this had been my first Black Rock experience, I honestly would never have returned—and I definitely won’t be coming back to this location.
I made a simple mistake when ordering through the app and selected iced instead of blended. I caught it immediately and politely let the barista know before the drink was made. Rather than just making the correction, she lectured me about how I need to “make sure I enter the correct order next time.” It was condescending and unnecessary—I already acknowledged the mistake.
The interaction was awkward and made us feel really uncomfortable. There was zero effort to be kind or understanding. I expect better from a brand I normally go out of my way to support.
