I’ve driven by a couple times for the scenery, then I finally stopped for lunch. It’s always so relaxing being by the water and the parked boats of just about any small harbor. Food here was excellent and the service was great! I have never thought to add tomato and avocado to a grilled cheese sandwich. Now after eating it here, I will definitely do it at home. I don’t think mine will be as good as Big Daddy Ross’—they use sourdough for the grilled cheese and it is DA BOMB!!! Bathrooms are clean. Wheel chair accessible. Nice ambiance. Friendly staff and excellent customer service with a smile.
If you choose to give a thumbs-up or not, I hope you found my review helpful!

Love driving up here on a Saturday morning to get breakfast. There is always a great breeze on a hot day. The vibe of the area is a nice little dinner on the water by the marina.
Food is good and service is great. They were open to making accommodations for dietary needs!
Can get busy with a wait, but the surrounding area is beautiful. Three peoples breakfast cost $30

This is a solid diner. We were seated quickly and the waitress was great with getting out drinks and taking orders and stuff. The menu had a lot of options and I’m thinking breakfast is definitely their specialty. My wife had the Biscuits & Gravy, she liked it. The kiddo had a Banana Nutella Pancake and had good things to say as well. My dad had an omelet and he seemed to enjoy it as well. I had the double bacon Cheeseburger and it was fine. It came with fries and they were good as well.
I think they may be understaffed (as most places are right now), and because of that, there was a couple small issues with service, so I knocked a star. The issues were about timing, My wife got her food a good 5-7 minutes before the rest of us, and then the next dish to come out was actually just a side of toast. Then it was another couple minutes and the rest of the food came out. It wasn’t a huge deal and I expect it was a staffing issue, so hopefully we’ll head back again and everything will be perfect, then I’ll bump up to 5 stars.

I love discovering hidden places that I would have never seen just in driving by. This was my first visit to Big Daddy Ross’s Cafe during brunch. It’s surrounded by what appears to be old and some abandoned boats and buildings. No clearly identified parking markers, but plenty of space to park near the entry. Cozy seating area and built on extension for additional patrons. The staff immediately greeted us when we arrived and were very friendly throughout our meal.
I ordered a standard breakfast: ham, eggs, and french toast. It was good! They also have a to-go option, which I will consider if seating is unavailable.

I was in the Baypoint neighborhood and it was around noon I want to eat a brunch use Google map to find this place and it really was not far from the freeway The restaurant was in the marina there and had some really great views of the water and the boat in the marina the servers are very friendly I was surprised about the large clientele they had being in such a cool Out-of-the-way place my wife has a veggie omelette and I had a steak sandwich which is very good I really like the place patio is really nice Other than being a little windy that day

Very good food! Wonderful Americana diner atmosphere. The food came pretty quickly even though they were kinda busy during brunch time. The manager was personally walking around making sure everyone was taken care of. Some of the waitresses would come out with the food and forget who it was for, but sure to the atmosphere and the crowd, it was more endearing than annoying. They were just doing their jobs and trying their best. The place is in the corner of a marina and a bit of of the way, but totally worth it!
Word of advice: try not to use the bathroom if you can, it’s basically a marina/dock bathroom.

Big Daddy Ross’s is a great diner next to the water. Always a good experience with friendly staff and good food.
It’s tucked away in Bay Point but a great find for anyone wanting to try a new spot.

First of all all staff was amazing! Shortly after we ordered the power went out (turns out that is a normal occurrence for the whole marina). They still made us an amazing breakfast. I highly recommend the crab omelette

This cafe is pretty hidden and surrounded by what looks like abandoned buildings. First time here and definitely not my last! As soon as we got there, we were sat down and got our food in no time! The buttermilk pancakes delicious! The chorizo burrito was big and really good! Friendly staff and great food! I recommend!
