I’ve tried a lot of sushi places around Sacramento, and Karai Sushi holds up really well. Clean flavors, good quality fish, and reasonable prices. It’s not trying too hard — just good sushi done right. Always a pleasant experience when I come here.

Every time I come the food and service is fantastic! The resturant is clean and relatively small. Count yourself lucky if you get a table.

Been here many times since March and it’s easily become my new favorite sushi spot in ALL of Sacramento. The quality is amazing, ambiance, presentation, staff and chefs are top tier.
The raw fish is comparable to high end restaurants and I don’t mess around when it comes to sashimi/nigiri. Thank you chef Danny and crew for always taking care of my cravings!

Absolutely delicious meal. We tried several rolls the kids had the noodles which were so good and the jalapeno bombs to die for.
It was a great time for all.
The only thing I might mention is it’s a very small dining room and a bit loud, so just be aware… if close quarters bother you. .

I stopped by Karai Sushi on Stockton Blvd and was honestly impressed. The fish was fresh, the rice was done right, and everything came out quickly. Prices are fair for the quality you get. It’s a chill spot with friendly service and consistently good food. Easy place to recommend if you’re craving sushi.

My husband and I love Japanese food and always try new places. Today we decided to visit this restaurant because I saw good reviews. When I first arrived, I didn’t expect much because from the outside, it didn’t look like much. But when I entered the restaurant, the atmosphere was nice and comfortable. The staff were very nice, friendly and helpful. The food here is fresh and delicious. Most importantly, the price is not expensive. I like this place. I recommend anyone who likes Japanese food to come and try it. And I hope in the future they will have tempura udon.

Karai Sushi’s Grand Opening was spectacular, with an amazing lion dance performance! I ordered a 25-piece sashimi platter and 4 rolls, and everything was so fresh, bursting with natural sweetness. The level 2 spicy noodles were just right, but next time, I might challenge myself with level 4. Definitely worth a return visit!

I drove by this hidden gem one evening and decided to dine-in since it’s their soft opening. The restaurant was so cute and cozy. Staff were attentive and very knowledgeable. I tried their 7-level spicy noodles and that did not disappoint!!! I ordered a small sashimi bowl, presentation was top notch and so cute, I wanted to take that Lil panda home lol. I also got lobster roll, lion king, and karai roll, all were delicious. I’ll definitely come back with family and friends to support this amazing restaurant!!!!

Place was very clean, they were very friendly. The food was quick to get to the table. We were not huge fans of the rolls we ordered but they were good and fresh quality. We will definitely be back but trying new things. The pepperfin is 10/10 highly recommend.

Really good sushi spot on Stockton Blvd. Everything we ordered tasted fresh and well made, and the portions were generous. Service was quick and friendly, even during a busy time. You can tell they care about consistency. Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area.
