We absolutely love Mimi’s Italian Ice! My three kids beg to stop in every time we’re nearby, it’s one of their favorite treats in North Lakeland. The Italian ice is always delicious and refreshing, with so many fun flavors to choose from. The shop is clean, cheerful, and the staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming every single visit. You can tell they care about their customers. Such a great local spot for families -highly recommend!

Such kind and sweet staff! The ice cream itself is also amazing! I love the floral flavors — which I wasn’t expecting as a chocolate girly. The shakes are also amazing. The best part is I can enjoy as much as I want without hurting my stomach. So glad Mimi’s opened this second location in my area!

From the moment we walked through the door, we felt welcome. The lady working was super friendly and took the time to explain all of their flavors to us. Everything here is homemade, and they even have vegan and sugar-free options, which is such a great touch.
My daughter tried the sour apple and lemon and loved them, while my son stuck with his favorite—classic chocolate. Every scoop was fresh, creamy, and full of flavor.
This was our first visit, and it definitely won’t be our last. We had an awesome experience from start to finish and will absolutely be coming back. Highly recommend trying this place out if you’re in the area! ✨

Honest Opinion
We use to go to the Southside until they closed but we are so thankful to still have this location. Best Italian Ice and Ice Cream in Lakeland and the service is always amazing. You truly feel like family when you walk in the door from beginning to end. This is absolutely a must try place.

This is one of my favorite dessert places and if you are a person that can’t take deri or you are a vegan diabetic. This is the place for you. And if you’re neither or it’s still the place for you. The icy’s and the dairy-free ice cream is beyond amazing. It’s a definite 10 out of 10. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.
