We had a wonderful experience eating Brunch here today. The food came out timely, the portions are massive, the Mimosas were STRONG and the staff were super friendly. Highly recommended. Was it the best food we have ever eaten, no. But was it solid? Yes. It was it an atmosphere that was welcoming, a meal made with care, and a price point that made it worth the while? Absolutely!

We came here originally for brunch but we’re late and so we got dinner. Our server was very sweet but the food was awful. We ordered fried pickles and the batter was raw. The burrata was ok and so was the calamari but just not worth the price for the food. Again our server was very sweet and took off the pickles. When we ordered our mains (the chicken pasta, the German burger, and the fried chicken meal) the were EXTREMELY unseasoned. Good service but the food was very disappointing.

Made plans for a dinner date with friend. Wanted to try something new for the both of us. We decided on Kraft House No. 5 and it did not disappoint. We both started out with a beverage and appetizer.

Sever greeted us with huge smile and was very happy to see us. She listened to my allergy and made note to kitchen. It wasn’t very busy when we went and getting the fo
od out was kinda slow. That’s why it was minus a star. The inside space is kinda small and the tables moved around a lot if the person behind you moved which was kinda annoying.

Overall would come back to try more on the menu.

The chefs here are true to their “Kraft”. The presentation and details to the food is uncanny. This little gem has the type of charm that the little village of Powell is yearning for. I Hope 2025 is a great year for all the staff here. Many blessings to you all ❤️❄️ ️

I love, love, love Kraft House! The food is delicious. The Pretzel is the best one in the city in my opinion and the wings are my absolute favorite thing there (and I don’t even particularly like wings). The Chicken and waffles is my go-to for brunch. The environment is delightful and the staff is always absolutely incredible!

First time at Kraft House No.5 but likely not the last. The food exceeded expectations; especially the pork chop which was thick, juicy and cooked perfectly and the burrata was above average, a few extra tomatoes would have really lifted it up another notch but that’s just my opinion. The dining room was bustling and full, so it was a little noisy but service was attentive and we really enjoyed our meal.

We had an AMAZING experience here. Our server was so kind and great at his job. The draft list had some really good options and the menu was super difficult to choose from. There were so many good options! We got the fish and chips and the half chicken with risotto. Hands down the best meals we’ve had at a restaurant in quite a long time. The atmosphere was super chill. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean. All around a really great experience. Hats off to Kraft House 5.0!
To top it off, we had a really special surprise of a random stranger paying for our meal!

Drinks were great, really enjoyed the dry rubbed wings. Unfortunately my salmon was swimming in butter, unseasoned, and lacking its skin. The “risotto” served with it is not risotto but a moulded rice thing also swimming in dairy. Asparagus was over cooked, and also dripping with butter. Butter, especially unsalted butter, doesn’t make everything better and for me makes it impossible to eat. My husband’s pork chop was tasty but extremely over cooked, the side of succotash was also swimming in butter. Very unfortunate, I think both dishes could have been great. Others at our table got burgers that looked amazing. I would go back to try other things on the menu, but will have to ask if everything is cooked in butter before I order.

Our family of six dined at Kraft House No. 5 for dinner last night. We made a reservation and only had to wait a few minutes for our table to be ready. The restaurant is somewhat small and it was packed to the brim. We took this as a good sign.

The service was very good and our server stopped by that table at just the right times. For an appetizer we had the nachos. The chips tasted like they were homemade in the restaurant and the rest of the toppings were quite tasty. It was just enough for the 6 of us without being too much.

My brother and I both had starter salads. I had the house salad which was made with tender lettuce, sliced beets, tomatoes and a vinegarette dressing. It was very good. My brother had the Italian salad made similar to a Caesar salad with added tomatoes. He said it was good.

For entrees I had the bone in pork chop served with a bourbon sauce, cheddar cheese mashed potatoes and corn on the cob. It was definitely the best pork chop I’ve ever had. My brother had the salmon and he said it was good. My niece had the fried chicken which was served with macaroni and cheese. She said the chicken was good and the mac and cheese was very good. My sister in law had the roast chicken and she said it was good.

All in all it was a very nice dinner and I would definitely go back.

One of the best restaurants Powell has to offer. Food was much better than expected and the service was good. Relaxing and not pretentious at all. I would recommend the house salad and fish sandwich. Both were excellent.
