Sashimi was so thinly sliced, nothing like they advertise. Only 3 types of fish not 4. Usually comes with a white tuna that is delicious but not the last 2 times. If your going to get sashimi I suggest going somewhere else because its not worth your money here.

I gave it 4 stars because it’s in a small town; in a big city, I would probably give it 3 stars. We were here for our daughter’s softball tournament and were looking for a place for dinner before heading home. The food was good, but I feel like Japanese restaurants always do an excellent job with their presentation on the plates, even though the price wasn’t cheap. I love Japanese food and have been to many Japanese restaurants. I ordered the Sashimi deluxe, and I was surprised by how it was served.

Nice restaurant in a strip mall/building. We were there before the dinner rush which allowed us to spend a decent amount of time here to enjoy our food. My guest and I ordered a large amount of food for our enjoyment and taste. I got the party tray B and substituted the two California rolls for the Superman which was a superb roll.
The women’s restroom was well lit and clean and satisfactory for my guests. The dining area was large and could accommodate a number of tables and people. The lighting was on the medium to low scale of brightness. The decor was typical for a restaurant like this. The facility was clean and appeared to be a good maintenance order. The plates and silverware were stylish clean and appear to be in new condition. The food was exceptionally well and appeared to be fresh. The shrimp tempura was excellent. The onion rings were extremely good and came with sweet chili sauce which was a plus from other establishments. I surely enjoyed the party tray as it filled me up and gave me quite a good variety of cooked and raw sushi.

I ordered the Japanese gyoza, spicy tuna roll and the onions soup. The gyoza were fried, which was ok but I would preferred steamed but I’m not sure if that was an option. The spicy tuna roll came with panko breadcrumbs on the top. I’ve never seen that on a roll before and it made it very dry. It wasn’t wrapped tight so when I picked up the pieces it fell apart. It was $11.99 for the roll which is very reasonable but I wouldn’t order it again. I don’t recommend the onion soup, basically a beef broth with onion flakes. Our server was new and was trying but was very green. He as personable and nice. The soup was the last item to come out and the appetizers came out with the food. Would I go back, not likely.

We tried this restaurant on a Sunday evening at 5:30 p.m. The tables filled quickly and there were numerous orders picked up to go in the hour we dined in. We had one order of “steak and shrimp combination” and one order of “teriyaki chicken bento box”. The main courses were good. We also had one order of spring rolls, but they didn’t have a lot of flavor and the vegetables inside were mushier than expected. Our server, Jena, was very nice and helpful in explaining various foods.

This place is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Best Japanese food in the whole area and that includes North Central Kansas. The staff is so nice, the food is OMG amazing and the Thai tea is so wonderful! This is mine, my better half’s, and his Dad’s favorite restaurant! And his Dad knows Japanese food thanks to the Navy! It’s worth the drive from Osborne County, Kansas. We come here once a month and in a good month we come twice. The miso soup is so soothing and full of flavor. And the sashimi is fresh, flavorful, and amazing . Make the trip, it’s worth it and it won’t hurt your bank account either.

Prompt, friendly service! The food was pretty good for a small town. I tried the Lobster Rangoons, sashimi deluxe and the fried cheesecake. I was hoping for a better presentation on the sashimi.The floor under my table was dirty but the rest seemed clean. I would eat here again.

Delicious food, very fresh, but the manager was not friendly with her employees. She was so rude to our waitress that she was in tears. We were right in the middle of our dinner. Our waitress was so kind. And didn’t deserve the treatment she received especially in front of everyone!

Food was delicious, can never go wrong. The server was good she was a bit nervous I don’t know why she did a great job and everything came out fast. It was a clean environment and the food was very presentable. Will come again.
