Free is a authentic Italian grocery and sandwich shop. They’re Italian sausage is made in house and I think the best in the city. Google wanted a restaurant review but this is so much more every cook should go there always surprises always delicious.

My husband and I came back from our honeymoon in Italy and were craving good pasta and meatballs and this place delivered! We experimented with a few other options in the area and came back to this deli immediately! 10/10. So authentic and delicious. It made me write a review while eating dinner (doesn’t happen often, except to rave about local businesses!)

Great subs and a charming deli with lots to choose from. Homemade pasta and imported specialties. Kind people, very helpful. Bring cash, no credit cards accepted.

This Capri sub is an absolute delight! The bread is crispy on the outside and soft inside—while the layers of Genoa salami, capicola, and mortadella deliver authentic, savory flavor. Fresh provolone, and a bright drizzle of house-made Italian vinaigrette tie everything together. Topped with crisp lettuce, ripe tomatoes, this sandwich hits every note and leaves you craving more

An incredible place. You have to try there home made pastas and sauces.
The quality is great and they make an easy dinner for an affordable price.

Hopefully you don’t get the lady that works there (told her quarter pound she gives me a half, and I asked what she’s doing and she says oh it’s a little over) I’ve been going there for years and she always screws something up when I order. The father and son are the best to deal with.. The sub sandwiches used to be good, they had plenty of meat on them, now the prices have increased barely any meat lots of bread though if you like that.
From now on I’m just going to keep going to Caputo’s…..

Been going here for almost 20 years. Wonderful meats, cheeses, pastas, and sauces. Whenever I get a craving for an Italian beef sandwich, I go to Capri for all the ingredients. Their beef, gravy, provolone, giardinara, and rolls make for the perfect sangwich (as my dad would say). They also have some terrific cookies at the counter. Make sure to bring cash.

I love a italian sub!
Regardless of the meat choices, if the bread isn’t fresh, then the rest is a mess. Just purchased a sub from Capri. The bread had to be 3 days old! So disappointing!!!! Jimmy John’s makes s better sub than this. I’ll drive to nonna’s instead is much farther but exponentially better.

This is the best store in town, subs are amazing, fresh deli and all kinds of authentic Italian goodies. I have to drive a long way now to get it but I will gladly always stop when nearby, it’s a must!
