Staff is what makes this place great. They are so kind a genuine. You can tell they are happy and that they love what they do. Small little corner lot in Salem. For a food truck, the food is great, full of flavor. The menu is kept simple with limited options. Dishes are fairly plain, your choice if bowl, plate, platter or a few others. They also have daily specials. Nice little spot to check out!!

Delicious food and fast friendly service. We grabbed to-go so I can’t speak to sitting on their picnic tables. But I loved the whole thing. Their menu wasn’t posted, but it was short and you can tell everything is done to perfection. I will be back, multiple times.

WILD PINEAPPLE GRILL Hawaiian Food is an absolute treat! Supersweet personalities makes you feel at home, while their flavorful dishes, like kalua pork and poke, transport you straight to Hawaii. Every bite bursts with authentic island flavors. Auntie Jackie’s warmth and delicious cuisine make for an unforgettable dining experience.

its always such a relief when i find great & welcoming customer service. i definitely wasnt sure if you could drive up on either side of the truck but when i pulled up they were happy to see me. i had been craving teriyaki and pineapple on a burger but ended up deciding to just go for hawaiian since its been a sec, not even knowing they had teriyaki hamburger meat. i initially ordered teriyaki chicken but they didnt have enough teriyaki chicken for a whole plate and offered to compensate with some of the teriyaki hamburger which i lovedddd. i should explore your weekly menu more because im definitely coming back! i should have asked for extra sauce because i love to drench my rice in it but i will next time

While we will go there on any weekday, my answer for Friday lunch is always poke from Wild Pineapple! Brown rice, extra sauce, and some heat always brightens my day. Whenever someone asks for a local favorite – this is where I start my list. Pulled pork is amazing and had them cook up a large amount for a dance we had for our daughters FFA program. Simply great food. Thank you!

My friend and fellow foodie joined me for another run through Wild Pineapple Grill. Note that the full Hawaiian Grill is currently only available on Thursdays and Fridays – they have deli-type sandwiches the rest of the week. Since this was a Thursday, we took advantage and both ordered their Hawaiian pulled pork sandwiches along with a can of Hawaiian Sun “Pass-O-Guava Nectar,” one of four flavors on hand. Wild Pineapple has exactly one wooden picnic table sitting a few feet from the small “coffee stand” building they inhabit, and we were in luck: it was unoccupied. So we enjoyed some pretty darn tasty BBQ sandwiches. At $6 it’s a good buy and it hit the spot. The bread was soft, but held together just fine. The meat was tender and the sauce was nice and tangy. This was also my first time drinking Hawaiian Sun, a blend of juices from concentrate plus cane sugar (rather than corn syrup). On a previous Thursday/Friday visit I had a poke bowl, which really hit the spot. I’ll be back.

Fantastic poke bowls! My only complaint is that it took me too many attempts to actually buy them, because they kept selling out before I got there! This week I think I got the last bowl, and it was totally worth the wait!

Only tried the pork and cabbage so far, good quality and excellent value. Portion was on the large side almost enough to split between two people. It is a little confusing pulling up to the window, there wasn’t a menu so I just ordered and hoped it was right.
