Went there for my birthday and it was PACKED! Totally recommend a reservation! The food was amazing! My only feedback is maybe a sign on the door that says welcome? The private dining room said do not enter, and all the doors were black, so for us first timers we walked back and forth a bit to find the door.

We decided to stop and try this place since we were driving by on our way to seeing a movie in Lancaster. This little gem of a place was really great. We started off with elote dip and some adult beverage refreshments. The dip was really good and we actually needed more chips since it really wasn’t enough to finish all the dip. I ordered the for dinner the rack of ribs and my wife had the southwest pasta. I ordered some fries as my side with the ribs. My wife’s pasta was very good and surprisingly a large portion of food. My ribs were some of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I would definitely recommend this place. Great place for a date night with your love or just just bring your whole family. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately I only took a picture of the elote dip and not the rest of the yummy food.

I have only been here twice and both of my experiences have been great. The service was great and I loved the atmosphere but there are a few issues mainly revolving the food. I know this place can do better because the taste of the food was great it was just how it was made. I ordered the chicken Alfredo pasta and it was good with seasoning and flavor but it was SWIMMING in butter. To a point where I lost my appetite. I’ve never had butter noodles but I bet this pasta still had more butter. And I know Alfredo is just cheese, butter, and milk but I have never had a pasta so buttery. I had to take home my left overs and wipe down the grease. Another small issue was the baked potato, it was hard and brown and seemed like it wasn’t fresh but again it was good in flavor. If they happen to fix those issues I will happily give it 5 stars !

We took my father in law here tonight for his 75th Birthday. Food and drinks were great. Bone marrow ap was amazing. We went on a friday at 7pm so we made sure to make a reservation since I read they are busy on weekends. The reason the service rating is low was the complete failure on coursing. The appetizers hit the table 3 min before the salads and before we could even figure out how to fit it all on the table here come the entrees. When you drop $250 on dinner and drinks you don’t expect to be crowded and feel rushed. Waitress was nice and pleasant but didnt even acknowledge it.
Next celebration for this family will be at the broken bit.

The best food ever! Went there for Thanksgiving. They were serving the regular menu and a special turkey dinner.
Got the salmon, my friends got the steak. All of it was divine! So many options! You can get toppers for your steak. How about shrimp! 6 nice sized tasty shrimp on your streak!
The elote dip is excellent! Service was great, and the atmosphere is wonderful.
The shrimp pesto is also delish!
Highly recommend!

We took a chance on the Iron Cactus Restaurant while wrapping a full day of sightseeing. The exterior is pretty plain. The restaurant is really nice inside with comfortable seating and really pretty light fixtures.
We had a late lunch and had excellent service. I would recommend getting there early as the restaurant staff was gearing up for a busy night. Our lunches were well prepared and we really enjoyed our food. There’s a full bar with a variety of beer and beverages.
The bathrooms were clean.
Iron Cactus is definitely a spot to stop at while you’re enjoying the area or you’re looking for a good meal and excellent service.

We visited Iron Cactus to celebrate some birthdays and were looking forward to trying it. The atmosphere and restaurant vibe were really nice, and the place has great reviews, so maybe it was just a bad night, but our experience was disappointing.
It took a while to get our order taken, and our server seemed to be covering hosting and several tables alone. Appetizers and entrees came out at the same time, and we sat with empty water cups until another staff member brought our food and we asked him for water. Our server checked in once and then disappeared for long stretches.
The food was mixed. My ribeye had a great sear but not much flavor. The scalloped potatoes were good, and the bone marrow was the best thing we ordered. The mixed veggies tasted like frozen vegetables. The tuna rice cakes were okay, but the sauces were strong and the rice was not crispy. My daughter’s sirloin was gray and overcooked, and we also found a hair on the chicken sandwich. Out of four adults, only one of us finished their meal.
When it was time to pay, we waited again because our server was making bar drinks. Another server finally stepped in to help.
We left feeling disappointed, especially since it was a birthday dinner. Hopefully it was just an off night.

Toward the end of our visit to California, my son and daughter-in-law treated us to lunch at Iron Cactus. It was a lunch to remember! We arrived about noon on a Saturday and had no problem getting a table. As we took our seats at a large corner table, we surveyed the restaurant’s interior. It is rustic yet comfortable. There is nothing assuming about this place, and one would be comfortable in a pair of blue jeans or in a nice “Sunday” suit.
Our food server (who also was the owner) made us all feel very welcome. Shortly after ordering our food arrived. This being lunch, we all got burgers or sandwiches, but they were impressive! The portions were generous and the burgers were piled with all kinds of goodness – cheese, sauteed onions and mushrooms, bacon…. From the first bite I was hooked! My burger had a pleasing char taste, and the melty cheese, spicy sauce, and sauteed vegetables all worked together to produce one of the best burgers I’ve ever tasted. Everyone else was also very pleased with their food.
Delicious food, friendly and efficient service, generous portions, comfortable environment…. It all added up to a perfect lunch experience before we board the plane for home. One thing for certain: when I am back in California again, a repeat visit to Iron Cactus will be high on my list of “must do’s”!

Had an AMAZING experience. Our server/bartender, Jason, was just the best! Perfect service, fulfilled our needs during our dinner, and made our night with his humor! He’s awesome! And food was just delicious . I highly recommend this place!!!
Update: I’ve been coming here quite some time, and this place has yet to fail me. The food it completely delicious, and the service has always been great! All drinks at the bar are awesome as well.
