This is my 2nd time here. I’m visiting from out of town, Houston, TX, and I think this is a mandatory stop from here on out. Loved hanging out with Doris and Sam! The vibe was great, very familial. What a gem! The pizza is incredible (we got the spicy soppressata and a corner slice of the Sicilian pepperoni) but even more than that, the atmosphere is absolutely perfect. Their hats say “family owned” and the staff really makes you feel like a part of that family.

I had a great time at grand street pizza over the weekend. I walked in during the opening credits Dennis the Menace and probably stayed too long because i watched the whole thing. It is a very moody vibe with great drinks. Some characters walked in and really woke up the vibe but everyone enjoyed them. The pizza was soft but crispy, flaky in all the right places and the crust was the icing on top. I scarfed the pizza down so I didn’t get a pic but I’ll be back. IMO better than all big name pizza places in New York idk. Just make sure you don’t confuse the garlic shaker for the Parmesan cheese and you’ll be okay.

I had a regular and a margherita slice. Both were good and crispy. I really enjoyed the flavors of the margerherita better. It’s pretty cool how it’s like a bar and you can have great tasting pizza with your alcohol.
The one thing that threw me off was when the guy asked if I wanted it warm or hot. I was like what? In all my years of eating pizza I never had that happen.

If I could give this spot 6 stars, I would. I eat a lot of pizza and have a lot of favorites in the City. This place is among them…but it’s more than just the pizza itself that raises Grand Street Pizza among the rest.
This place is a vibe. It is the kind of pizza spot where you could end up staying for a while chatting it up and enjoying good grub. The music, the staff, the drinks: everything is on point. Clay & Rico are class acts, New York natives and pizza experts. And Hannah will keep you refreshed at the bar. It’s a tiny spot (note that if you’re coming during peak hours), but that actually makes it feel even more special.
But then there’s the pizza – it’s amazing. I went with the sopressatta and hot honey, and my only regret is having room for only one slice today. Can’t wait for my next visit!

I have been going to Grand St for years. Born and raised in New York. When I moved here I was looking for ny pizza and then I found them. The closest you will get to NY pizza. The most amazing cannolis. Whether you dine in or take out you will always receive the greatest service. Always a smile and care for customers. They make you feel like family!!

First came to Grand Street Pizza by chance back in the summer of 2024 when they first opened. The owner was very nice and made a connection with us. Flash forward to the end of 2025 and we were finally in the neighborhood again and decided to pop in for a slice. The place was busy but the owner and his staff still took care of us and the slices were just as good as we remembered. It was nice to see the place so busy, it’s very deserving! We love the atmosphere of the dining area and is always on our list of places to eat when we are in the neighborhood.

The pizza here is delicious! I came here with my 2 young nieces who are super picky eaters and they both gave this place 2 thumbs up. We had the regular cheese slice, pepperoni, and the white pizza and we inhaled all 3. The crust is thin and the edges are perfectly crispy. I’m not the biggest pizza fan, but I’d totally go get more slices from here if I’m in the area. Highly recommend!
