Very good breakfast, but don’t forget to grab your food on the way out, if you leave it behind and come back for it , they dispose of it, they say there to busy, but they know exactly what you left behind. I called them 30 minutes later realizing my container is no longer available.

Summer 2025 update: we have become regulars at Lena’s this year. The service is great, always with a smile and very attentive. The food is always on point as well. Such a beautiful little place that we found on the way to Mom’s house. Service was fast. Waitress is very nice. They had great homemade specials. The corned beef hash was definitely fresh and different. We enjoyed it. Had a nice big omelette with some pancakes. Everything was cooked to the liking. The chocolate milk was enjoyable and so is the unsweetened iced tea friendly atmosphere with great folks. Definitely give them a try if you’re driving through the downtown honesdale

I was having work done on my Bike at the local Harley dealer and asked for a recommendation as to where to go eat breakfast. They rapidly said Leana’s! I ordered the GF e “veggie omelet”. It arrived in super speed. The his onlmlet has peppers onions and broccoli. To the broccoli was well cooked yet still firm, something that requires skill to do on an omlet. The coffee was hot and the offers or a refill plentyful. The staff was friendly and helpful on making my selection. I highly recommend this facility we hen you are in the area

This is the most amazing diner I’ve been to in a long time . The food was so great & a cook came out to ask tables how everything was on his break . He took our dishes & had the sweetest smile . I haven’t had that service in so long ! Shout-out to Jared . Everyone go to Lena’s !

FYI the place is now call Lena’s cafe since is a new owner. I was going rate them a 4 but due to the waiter and services i had give them a 5. They have amazing staff. I truly appreciate ya. The food was great but nothing to brag about.
