Social Profile:

In 1967, we opened our doors in Abilene, TX to share fresh, authentic Mexican food. Now, almost 52 years later, while the other guys have turned to packaged and processed foods, we’ve stayed true to our roots by crafting authentic recipes in each of our kitchens. We do things the Bueno way, and you’re sure to taste the difference.

Counter-serve Mexican chain offering tacos, burritos & quesadillas plus a serve-yourself salsa bar.

Their food has been beyond salty for a few years! It is absolutely inedible. I ate all I could before it went in the trash. I’ve called and complained multiple times. I’ve been told it’s the salt shaker they’re using. FIX THE SALT SHAKER ISSUE!!!!! I AM SICK OF THROWING MY MONEY IN THE TRASH!!! That’s the ONLY ISSUE THIS PLACE HAS! TOOOO MUCHHHH SALTTTTT!!!!! It’s GAGGING!!!! Out of probably 100 plus visits—our food has been good maybe 10 times because of the salt issue!

Quality experience. Food was good. Service was quality. This Bueno brings the food to your table. Clean restaurant with employees that care. I do hate the fact that they pay $9 an hour to their employees. I do understand it is a smaller town but not much monetary incentive to work here. This Bueno location does find a way to put a quality experience for this customer. Good luck Coweta Bueno!

Service was horrible. The lady that took our order was snobby. I ordered a Big o burrito “bob” that is a joke nothing big about it. It was the same size as a regular bean burrito. I can tast tortilla more than what is in it. I haven’t ordered one in yrs and last time I did it was 4x that size.

I have a dairy allergy and requested my food with no cheese. I got three tacos and the first two didn’t have cheese, but the third one had cheese hidden underneath the lettuce. If I hadn’t seen it I would have eaten something that would cause me to become sick. This is not the first time I’ve ordered this and been given tacos with cheese. This is however the first time the cheese has been put underneath the lettuce so that I couldn’t see it when I open the wrapping to check before leaving. This is incredibly dangerous and seems very intentional as it was under the lettuce instead of on top.

Noticed this Bueno is always busy including dine in customers. IMO, all Buenos in Broken Arrow are nasty and the food is seems stale. The Taco Bueno in Coweta is clean, friendly and attentive staff. Everything i have been here the food seems fresh and is surprisingly good!

I ordered regular bean burrito and they are paper thin. The plastic is what the fork came out of. It is wider than the burrito. Beans are cheap, I’m failing to understand stand the extreme stinginess. What happened to Taco Bueno? The party burritos of the 90s/2000s had more beans than these.

If you go through the drive thru, don’t leave until you count every single item you’re suppose to have. I was surprised they were able to fit my order into one bag so I asked, “that’s all of it?”, and she said yes so I drove home (20 minutes away)… I’m missing 3 quesadillas; not breaking the bank, but not worth the 40 minutes plus the gas to go back to get them.

Driving through town with the grandkids and decided to stop. Never been to that one before. Everyone was nice, friendly and very clean but it took forever to get our food!! Idk like 30-45 minutes.

Every single time I come here without fail, they disappoint. I got a beef nacho salad which is my usual order for taco Bueno and when I opened the box it had just enough chips to cover the very bottom and that was it, so I asked them to remake it and they put EVEN less than before (wish I had taken a picture of that one.) I hate leaving bad reviews but this place is all around not great. Go to the one in ba on elm Street instead. They’ve always been amazing.
