Reviews
What makes this place special is the service. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous. Their dedication to service and promoting their items is remarkable.
Hitesh is an excellent person, who is dedicated to service.
Rupal and Parul who prepares food and also helps in the front office are very nice people.
They go above and beyond their expectations.
I placed an order for Party Trays for a small gathering about 30 people on a Saturday evening.
I placed order over the phone with Phorum and Jay at the corporate office in South Plainfield, NJ.
Both Phorum and Jay are very nice people. They help with lot of patience, suggesting and explaining the various dishes, sizes, ingredients and how they taste etc., They both are very accommodative and modifying the orders, and taking additional optional requests etc.
At the East Windsor facility, Mr. Hitesh, Rupal and Parul gave more than the required amount with few complimentary items.
The guests were satisfied and were raving about the deliciousness of the food.
Those who are vegetarians can confidently, eat at Sukhadia and place orders for Party Trays for functions.
As some of the reviews say, yes, some items in the store are over priced.
Note: While placing an order, be specific on how to prepare the food as per your liking like, mild, medium spicy, extra spicy etc., and for those who does not like sweetness in the non-sweet items, should insist on making the food non-Gujarathi style (Usually most Gujarathi spicy items also taste sweet).
For any business, service and attitude are the important factors. This place meets those two qualities.
So when we found ourselves leaving Six Flags hungry for a snack, and discovered this location a mere 11 miles away, we were excited!
Unfortunately it looks like the sweets are still their best skills. The channa bhatoras were the best of what we ordered. The dahi puris were horrible. The masala soda – an easy mix of black salt and coke – was massacred beyond comprehension and had to be dumped. The hakka noodles were a gravy laden mess. Vada Pau was ok.
In short – stick to the sweets. The hot food is nowhere close to what we get in Khasiyat or Mogul Express.
They served STALE bread, and they served Bombay grilled sandwich COLD.
Vada Pav is excellent.
Competition is right across the street! (i.e. Honest), and as of now, I feel honest has better food.
Overall, this place was 3 stars.
