the Samosa chat appetizer was delicious and my favorite out of the things we got but sadly it came out a little cold. The flavor was great, though! The tikka masala was good, and I also had another chicken dish (I totally forgot the name). They were okay, I feel like they did not have any wow factor, and the temperature of those as well seemed like it was sitting there for a bit. We also ordered the mango lassi which was delicious! We came on a Saturday night so it was busy! Personally the tables are too close together with others and it’s super loud since it’s a tight space. The staff were amazing, but sadly the food didn’t quite hit the mark.

The space is intimate, so you’re seated close to other diners, which almost invites conversation. In our case, that made the experience even better—our neighbors were wonderful and incredibly helpful in explaining some of the dishes.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in. We started with samosas that were perfectly crisp and full of flavor. For our mains, we had the garlic curry with lamb and the chicken tikka masala, and both were outstanding—rich, well-balanced, and clearly made with care.

The restaurant intelligently balances casual and slightly elevated a fitting choice for a diner in my “everyday” mode who values both flavour and approachability. The décor nods to its truck-roots (there’s a cool mural of their old food-truck) and yet the seating and finish communicate a sit-down comfort. Overall an amazing experience as the waiter asked me about my background and was interested more than just serving me. As it was my first time I would very much recommend going there again with family & or significant other. I cannot believe there is an amazing Indian restaurant in Claremont . You can smell the auroma from down the street . This amazing little spot has one of the best Indian foods and so you don’t have to drive all the way to artesia. Great variety and lots of vegetarian options. The mango lassi is bomb and service is great too ! Love the paneer saag and paneer tikka ! Came here twice in a row one weekend !

I have been eating here since last 6 months now. The experience has always been amazing. This place is authentic. Food was tasty and everything made to order. The staff recommended me some out of the menu items which turned out to be very unique and delicious. My favorites are the chicken tikka masala, garlic naan, veggie samosas, and the gulag jamun with rabri. The seasonings are great and we get the option of different level of spice to suit us. Today I was here with someone special and when the staff realized it, they served us with the dessert on the house.
Service was fantastic. Staff always smiling and checking on you to see if you like the food and if you need something. Great food and great service! Thank you!

Tried Daddyji in Claremont for lunch and while the food was decent, the overall experience could use a little refinement.
They offer a lunch menu, which is great if you’re looking for Indian cuisine in the area. However, it took about 20–30 minutes for the food to come out — which felt long for a lunch setting.
What made the wait a bit more uncomfortable was the service. The wait staff checked in constantly — about every 3 to 5 minutes — asking how the food was, even before we had a chance to start eating. While attentive service is appreciated, this felt more like hovering and got a little distracting.
I also tried the pineapple lemonade, and unfortunately, it was way too sweet, almost syrupy. Would love to see a more balanced version in the future.

Lucky to find out this restaurant on our way to LA to Vegas. We had a delicious lunch and we decided to come back to same hotel while returning from vegas and glad we did that too.
Staffs are too friendly and kind.
