Every now and then they’ll have surprise treats for sale. Today they had arroz con leche that I got to snag, served warm. It was delicious. And the ladies there are super nice. Highly recommend the birria tacos with consomé.

Birria & Tacos Express is a great taco stand located in a truck repair shop. I got some tacos which were very tasty. I decided to try a corn and flour tortilla also steak and chicken tacos. They were all good, but I liked the steak taco the flour tortilla the best. The atmosphere is not ideal since it is in a shop with a lot of vehicle traffic. But it’s not terrible. I would even say it’s very convenient if you are waiting for your truck. The customer service was great.

I went to Birria Express today on my break I ordered 3 corn quesabirrias extra crispy I always ask for extra crispy because every place cooks theirs different, I don’t want to assume because these could be homemade but these look like flour to me and they were not crispy at all. The birria meat is flavorful and the Horchata was Amazing !!! Wish they would have recommended I get a bigger size because it was so good! If I went back I would get regular tacos as I personally didn’t like their style of Birria ones but the service was very friendly and the pricing is nice they also take cards !

This place has some of the best birria I’ve tried in Houston. Perfect level of spice and the flavor is amazing. The breakfast tacos are on point and the green sauce goes so well with the tacos. I will continue to go here any chance I get. If you’re in the area be sure to stop by, don’t be fooled by its location, this is a great spot to grab a quick bite to eat!
