Hello Tokyo 2 – Gonzales ⭐⭐⭐⭐
We’ve dined in several times and always enjoyed great food and service, so we decided to do a to-go order. The sushi and steak hibachi were excellent, just as we’ve come to expect. The only hiccups this time were the vegetable tempura, which arrived a bit soggy, and a sauce container that spilled in the bag, making a mess. Overall, the flavors were still wonderful, and this won’t stop us from ordering again—just hoping for a little extra care in the packaging next time.

Just had lunch there. Sushi was amazing! On par maybe even better than Geisha. I do like the tar tar and they didn’t have that. I also like there to be some music in the background that can drown out the cooks. Another thing, I personally enjoy when the waiter/waitresses are little more personable. All in all, Sushi was OUTSTANDING!

The service was ok. The food. Was horrible. It was cold from apps to entrees. And we were one of the 1st people in there. The teriyaki sauce was congealed on top of my salmon. When I asked abt it apparently that is normal. They offered to redo the salmon with out the sauce so I said yes. And it was way over cooked. Almost burnt. Will not be back. Will not recommend.

I’ve been a regular at Hello Tokyo 2 and have always been impressed with their ability to customize orders, especially my favorite hand rolls with tempura shrimp and avocado. The service here is consistently good, although I’ve noticed some changes in staffing recently. Despite this, the quality remains high, and they always get my pick-up orders right. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a reliable and accommodating sushi spot!

Picked up at 1:47. I work 5 minutes down the road so order was not waiting long. I ordered the lunch choose any 3 roll. I got a crunchy roll tempura roll and a crunchy crab. Crunchy was stale and chewy. Tempura was stale and chewy. Tried one piece each and refuse to eat the rest. Called at 2:12 to ask if I could swap it for something else and no answer. Called 7 more times and no answer. Drove up there at 2:22 and the door was locked so a worker let me in. Said the owner was sleeping and no one could help me. Left the food and my contact info on the counter. They close at 2:30 and don’t open back up until 4:30. So I guess they just decided to close 30 minutes early.. I will not be back hopefully they have the decency to refund my order

It’s a good restaurant I won’t lie 4.3/5 I love the food. service is better then most restaurants but never came ask for a refill and they had good attitude it’s not like going to Burger king and they yell at you for 0 reasons but that doesn’t matter service 3.7/5 the place looks nice it’s nice and dim but bright at your table so the perfect balance the floor was clean unlike McDonald’s were the parking lot is cleaner then the McDonald’s but I’m getting side tracked atmosphere 4.2 good for place if you want sushi it’s expensive but good

8 piece veg roll and Eddie roll.
Veggie roll was 90% cucumber with a sliver of avocado and one asparagus which didn’t even make it through all 5 pieces. Really expected more considering seaweed salad and sweet potatoes are on the menu.
Tuna didn’t taste fresh, the ginger smelled like it had mildew (perhaps from being wrapped improperly or not kept cold), and the portion was small and not as advertised. Veg roll was supposed to be 8 pieces- it was 5. Eddie roll was a small 8 piece. Neither was worth trying this place again.
Both rolls fit in the type of container you’d find at a deli.
