Español is a really fun place to eat Italian food. Yes that’s right, Español is a really great place for Italian food! The four of us celebrated my wife’s birthday. The service was outstanding; they kept up the good service throughout but did not intrude at obvious family moments, very smart. We had spaghetti and meatballs and raviolis what’s great meat sauce. Of course, they started with a standard salad with blue cheese or Italian or French dressings. Then, came a wonderful minestroné soup that they kept bringing as long as we wanted until we had our fill. The entrees reserved as we finished our soup and salad; in other words, they paid attention to the progression of our dinner and waited until we had finished soup and salad before bringing us the main entrees. I like eating establishments that pay attention to detail and do not clutter the table. The pricing of the menu items is priced well, and I would say moderate. Not only would I recommend Español, but I give it five stars for it is a great family atmosphere too!! Español also has a nice cozy little bar that serves bottled beer, wine and liquor. I like Italian food and we’ll be revisiting Español!!

My parents took my Husband and I out to Español. And I have to say this place is amazing…Has a historic touch, with a home like feel and of course the food was amazing. You can get dishes with spaghetti and ravioli. Comes with salad, soap and warm bread. I got the eggplant Parmesan for dinner. Yum!! Family friendly and great for big events too. No need for reservations but would help with big groups.

Consistently great, they have a modest menu but they are great at what they do. If you don’t walk out full, you aren’t doing it right!

I feel is some of the best Italian food in town. I have never had anything but the absolute best old world Italian fare ever. Soup, salad and fresh bread is hard not to fill up on before you get your main course because it is all so good. Everything is great, fast service by friendly servers but the food here is just divine. I really don’t know how they get any chicken dish to come out so juicy and perfect. Leave room for the spumoni ice cream. Even it you don’t generally like it, I think you will like this brand. It is the best I have had.

9 of us came here for a birthday celebration. Love the service here. Friendly personable service. Plates cleared, water filled in a timely matter. Minestrone soup is still very good. The pasta is just alright. The go to dish is the fried chicken with garlic. The chicken cacciatore is another favorite. The pork chop was dry and tough.

This is my favorite neighborhood restaurant. Very cozy, homey & friendly. Good place for comfort food. The kind of place where the people know your name after you’ve been a few times. The portions are gigantic, the minestrone is excellent. You can order endless soup & salad which is guaranteed to fill you up. (When you order the salad, make sure to ask them to mix the blue cheese with the vinaigrette. Soooo good! AND they have spumoni ice cream.
One of my favorite places.
