Lovely little Italian restaurant, with very attentive and friendly personnel. Our waitperson was Donna. The atmosphere is cozy and the seasonal was very festive.

My friend and I visited on Wednesday for lunch. We were promptly seated. We shared the Fall Salad which was beautifully prepared, and served dressed. We also shared the Seafood Linguine. There was plenty of.seafood to share, and the pasta was perfectly al dente. The cream sauce was delicious and did not overpower the seafood flavor.

The wine menu included a nice selection. We shared some champagne and took home the bottle.

I also ordered the caramel apple spritzer as “dessert”. It was not as flavorful as I had hoped, tasting mainly of spritzer. The caramel, had it been mixed in, would have elevated the drink.

Would definitely return for another visit.

It’s a amazing hidden gem in Los Gatos. Really good dishes: soups, pastas, tiramisu. Good portion size. Servers are the best in Bay area, better than fine dining restaurants, helping, assisting, caring. We really enjoyed our time here.

Disappointed! This food had very little to do with Italian food:(
Margarita pizza was flat and old, not freshly made !
Gnocchi was with too many flavors and distractions

The only decent food were the salads…

Had a great experience at The Pastaria & Market! The food was good and comforting. But the real standout was the super friendly staff who made us feel genuinely welcome from the moment we walked in. The vibe is super laid-back and relaxed, making it a perfect spot to unwind. Don’t leave without trying the frozen rosé—seriously, it’s a must! Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for great food and even better atmosphere.

OMG. So good. I got the pasta primavera and it was to die for. Loved our waiter. Love the atmosphere too, though I can’t give it 5 stars as I reserve that for the very best. The two-seater table next to the wall at first seemed cramped because you sit very close to the people next to you. But we started talking to them and that made it even more fun. You’re still far enough away to keep your conversation private. My favorite new Italian restaurant.

Great atmosphere and excellent location, right in the heart of Los Gatos downtown. I recommend making a reservation to get a table, this place does get busier so walking are gonna be hard. The food was good but we didn’t get the authentic Italian taste, the flavors were lacking to be honest. We have been to other Italian places recently and we had much more flavorful margherita pizza which wasn’t the case here. The chili garlic bread didn’t really have any chili in it. The pasta sauce was really amazing, loved the taste of it. Overall it’s a good restaurant but I wish the pizza was more flavorful.

Excellent trattoria style food. Nice wine selection. The service is terrific (thank you Sarah and Emily). The gnocchi was our table’s favorite entree. All were great, including the chicken parmigiana, bolognese, and pizza

Visited The Pastaria & Market on a Sunday, and the place had a great vibe—especially with the festive Christmas-season atmosphere. We tried the following dishes:

• Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic – 3/5
• Burrata Pizza with Chicken – 4/5
• Walnut Pesto Linguine with Chicken – 2/5 (felt a bit bland; this was my first time trying this style at an Italian restaurant, so I’m not sure if that’s typical)

Overall, the food was good and seemed freshly made. The ambiance and freshness definitely stood out.

My wife loves pasta, and I wanted to find her something a little more special, so I decided we would try here for a birthday dinner. Slam dunk choice really: What a fantastic little pasteria!

The fresh pasta really shines through and puts the dried stuff to shame. We loved both our pasta dishes, the Tagliatelle & Truffle Cream sauce and Pasta Primavera. I imagine it’s probably hard to go wrong with any of their pasta, on top of the fresh pasta, the seasonings and cooks were perfection.

For appetizers the Melted Brie & Roasted Garlic is to die for, and something I now definitely want to try myself at home. I do recommend they fully cut the bread served with it, the whole half cut “boat” thing was awkward to deal with. The Polenta Fries were also good, especially with the Calabrian Pepper Jelly, but we felt the fries themselves needed a little more salt.

And for dessert we were a little disappointed with the Olive Oil Pistachio Cake (still decent), but the Gelatos were top notch!

This place is now on our radar and I suspect we’ll be coming back soon.
