The food was fresh and delicious. The menu had so many great options. There was no wait for seating and the waiter came to offer us drinks right away. The complimentary chips and salsa is the best I’ve ever tasted. I quite enjoyed the atmosphere and aesthetic of the restaurant.

My wife and I have never been here before so we decided to try it. The food was amazing we had the taquitos for our appetizer. My wife had the buffalo chicken Mac and cheese monthly special and I had the birria tacos. Emily was our server and she was awesome. My drinks never ran dry and she was very polite. She also showed us a great and fun first time. We will definitely be coming back here even though we live an hour away.

It wasn’t bad! There are definitely some flaws, but nothing where it deserves less than 4 stars. Food was tasty, though it could’ve been a little bit more flavorful. The Mac and cheese was just a bit bland. Service was decent, but expected a little more especially on a day where they weren’t so busy. Great atmosphere. Would still return and give it another shot based on our dining experience!

Loved the vibes it’s a very nice and cool place to hangout. Great spot for big or small groups. The bathrooms were super nice they even had a family bathroom which was great! The staff were also super friendly. The food left me wanting more…it’s basically overpriced Mexican food. The chips and salsa were not my favorite. I got the steak asada enchiladas which was recommended by a friend. Although they were good they weren’t very big enchiladas and it was over a tiny bed of rice for $19. You’re basically paying for good steak. I think it would’ve been more worth it if they gave you rice and beans as well.

Just a heads-up for anyone considering dining at Ancho y Agave:
I was feeling perfectly fine before eating there last night. I only had a drink and two tacos, and unfortunately, I ended up with what feels like food poisoning. I’ve been feeling awful since, and I’m sharing this in case it helps others make an informed decision.

I strongly encourage the restaurant to take a closer look at food safety and kitchen practices — no one should leave a meal feeling worse than when they arrived.

Also, something felt off: the manager came by and picked up only the empty dishes from our table, and not from any others around us. It was strange and left a weird impression.

Excellent experience at Ancho & Agave. Server was Emily and she was very pleasant. We had guacamole with chips to start and the guacamole had great texture and taste. I had the Mesquite Smoked Chicken Enchilada and my husband had the Steak & Chicken Burrito, both dishes had great flavor and seasoned perfect for us. Serving size was plentiful.

First timer here. I walked in on a pretty busy Saturday night and left so stuffed that my hiccups were a little more dangerous than I’d like.
The atmosphere was relaxed and inviting. Good lighting and plenty of space.
The complementary chips and salsa were good. Chips crisp and warm, salsa fresh and mild spice.
I don’t eat a lot of meat but I branched out and tried the chicken tortilla soup. Pretty good! More chicken than I’m used to so couldn’t finish it. Good sized portion. Tasty.
I also tried the esquites. If you’re a fan of mayonnaise this one’s yours. Ask for light mayo if not. The corn was sweet and fresh. Well seasoned otherwise.
I’m a huge fan of the sweet potato tacos. Every detail was fabulous and overall delicious.
To finish it all off I had the triple chocolate brownie. That’s the only picture I took. It was pretty great. I took half of it home.
I do want to give my server Daniel a shout-out. He was patient with me and my questions about the menu and was very attentive. Checking on me, seeing if he could clear my plates, and asking if I had all I needed. He looks like a very hard worker and like he cares about what he does. Thanks Daniel!

I’d heard mixed reviews so I had to try it for myself. The beverage selection was good. My husband had a local while I stuck with my Ultra. The chips were homemade but could have used some salt. The homemade salsa had several layers of robust flavors. We ordered a flight of the 14 street tacos so we could try them all. We chose flour tortillas since that is our preference. Each one was unique and delicious. The fresh flavors from the scratch kitchen really died through. I have a sensitivity to bananas so my dessert options were limited. I went with the churro bites which came with 3 different dipping sauces. Fresh, hot and delicious! My husband let me try a bite of his tres leches cake which was huge. Great texture and flavor. Overall, a good experience and worth the trip.

Quite possibly the worst restaurant experience ever. My fajitas were made incorrectly so they had to remake them. Brought them out the second time with absolutely 0 sizzle and missing the shrimp. Waited for our waiter to come by so I could tell him but that took a good 15-20 minutes. Everyone else had been done and ready to leave for quite awhile. He asked if I wanted a to go box for what I did get served to me I told him no. He then said that they would make my food to go which I didn’t really understand because I just told him I didn’t want a to box for the cold food sitting in front of me. I just wanted to get out of there. Then charged me for full price for my dinner. Truly unbelievable.
