Staff are amazing. They were crazy busy when we stopped. Staff were speedy. We ordered the giant pretzel and highly is recommended if you like jumbo pretzel. The beer was cold and hot chocolate was amazing!

Casual place, fun decor especially the bathrooms (pg-13) . Had the chicken nachos…barely anything on them. Friends had the patty melt and a steak sandwich with curly fries. Steak sandwich had a grilled garlic bread bun. Curly fries were unique. Server was awesome! She even found an outlet to charge my phone. Old Fashioned was good. Bar area was packed on a Monday.

This is a “Must Stop” when in the area! There was a lot going on when we were here. Everyone was friendly and talkative, even though we had never met them. Bartender was cool. Atmosphere was off the hook Northwoods!

Two couples came for a Friday fish fry. We arrived early (430) to avoid a wait and were seated immediately. By 5 the crowds arrived so we were happy we got there early. Two had the fried haddock, one the baked haddock and one the walleye. Each had five pieces of fish choice of potatoes, coleslaw, and bread. Unfortunately, bones were found in the walleye. Everyone enjoyed their food, and most took some home. I would suggest they offer two different size portions as five pieces were more than we could finish, and it’s not as good reheated.
Our server was very nice and helpful, explaining the choices with the meal. She also made a great recommendation for an appetizer (onion tanglers ).

This was our first visit to Slo’s Pub – and it was fun and delicious. Our bartender was efficient and friendly – kudos. I had the daily special – the JUMBO chicken wings – served with several tasty sauces on the side (with plenty of napkins too), “she” had the Walleye sandwich and fries – WOW – the fish filet was the size of a canoe. Delicious lunch, overlooking Big Arbor Vitae, sipping a couple of Jack & Cokes – tough to beat in the Northwoods of Wisconsin. If you are in the Minocqua / Woodruff area – check out Slo’s , just off of Hwy 70 – with a great lake view – we enjoyed our visit, I bet you’ll love it too.
