On a road trip and decided to stop at this McDonald’s. The prices are too much, ended up getting two mchickens and it still came our to $11. The food was fresh though and the employees greeted me before I placed my order.

F a st lines food fresh cooked right. Staff seems a little stressed or short tempered. Bad staff ruins a restaurant I’ll let it slide and.consider it a bad day…but every time I stop they are rude and obnoxious….its why I usually go to the other places in the Angola service area. Oh yeah you don’t go to McDonald’s if you want good food either just sayn overcooked nuggets and a half full fry box

As of January, 2023: all McDonald’s locations on the thruway rest stops in NY state are closed. I’m not sure what restaurants/dining options will replace the mostly empty building. ((The list of businesses with contracts to operate along the thruway are in the bottom left corner of the picture)) There’s just a small convenient store/gift shop along with bathrooms in the building between the catwalk bridges.

I’m rating as a 3 because of price gauging. We went into the service center, hoping for a quicker in and out. You part in the parking lot. Then walked on a walkway across to the center between the east and west bound lanes. Definitely not faster. Then we ordered our meals. A big Mac meal was 13.05, that is way more then normal. The two meals we ordered came almost to 30.00. I feel a little taken advantage of.

10/26/22 around 4pm. Every other restaurant was closed. The only other option for food was vending machines or the mini store.
McDonald’s was very busy with a very long line. You could tell the people behind working at McDonald’s were hustling! I sent a mobile order. I waited my turn and was very surprised at the speed I was served and positive attitudes of the employees! Great job under pressure when no other restaurants showed up for work!!

The food was good, staff was fairly polite… But there was something wrong with their selection: no hot espresso drinks (order taker told me to go to Lavazza… But I can’t use the McDonald’s app there…) and no apple slices. Regular coffee tasted somewhat watered down.
Good place to go if you’re hungry, I suppose.

I was a bit distracted while ordering by the flies circling the cashier. Sadly I still ordered, my family’s usual order, and then shocked by the total of $49. I couldn’t believe the Happy Meals were over $8. Despite the premium price, the food was subpar. The place was packed, and I think they were doing their best with the 3 people they had prepping the food, but I was not anticipating a 30 minute wait for McDonalds . If you can wait to eat, please do to save time, money and disappointment.
