I was introduced to this place early 2025. Since then my fiancé and I have fallen in love with this restaurant. This is our first place to go to celebrate birthdays and anniversaries. I compete in combat sports: grappling and MMA, so my diet is strict through the majority of the year, to celebrate after a competition win or loss, this is my go to spot to EAT, I love their Favorite and Caprese pizzas, both go great with chicken, the greek salad is also wonderful.
The owners here are so kind and respectful, they remembered my birthday after not seeing me for about 5 months, they make this place very special.
10/10 would recommend for a fun, cozy little spot to enjoy good food with friends.

Mixed experience. This occurred on February 3, even though I’m just now speaking about it. I walked into the bar area and waited to be acknowledged while three people were sitting there, and no one said anything to me. A white couple walked in after me, and one of the men at the bar immediately greeted them, asked if they were picking up or dining in, and directed them where to go. The difference in treatment was noticeable and uncomfortable.
I ordered a pepperoni pizza, which was good, and the cook in the back was the only person who was kind to me. However, I also ordered empanadas through DoorDash that were advertised as coming with 4, and I only received 2.
Because of the service and the incorrect order, I won’t be returning.

Really good made to order pizza! After you order, you can watch them make your pizza through the window. My friends had the veggie pizza, wings, and buffalo chicken pizza. I just had a sweet tea and a cannoli. The cannoli was super sweet (a little too sweet for me), which may have been because of the chocolate drizzle on top. I tried both pizzas and I was pleasantly surprised with the veggie pizza! It was really tasty. The buffalo pizza was just ok. Every employee we interacted with was super friendly and the owners made sure we had everything we needed when we got our food. They have a nice variety so if I’m ever in the area, I’d go to try some other things. Super nice people and good pizza close to UNCG!

Ordered food from this establishment once but never again. Found long blonde hair strung through the inside of the pizza. What was more unfortunate was that I had found it after I had already bitten down. Went back to the restaurant with picture proof asking for a refund. The owner tried to blame the hair on us (both of us have black hair) even though there was very visibly a lady with long blonde hair working near the pizzas with hair sticking out her hair cap. Instead of a refund, he offered a free pizza the next time we came back. Why would I want another pizza from an establishment who served me a hair pizza? I would maybe have given it another chance had the owner even ENTERTAINED the idea that his employee with uncovered hair got hair in the pizza, but no. First and last time buying their pizza.

My fiance and I, absolutely LOVE new York pizza, the bartender is always nice and the older man that works in the back is always pleasant as well. They have best Caesar salad in Greensboro in my opinion, we will certainly be back!!

Love this place! I live in the neighborhood and it is my go to for takeout, dine in, and a slice on the run. Best pizza and wings on a block saturated with dining options and the patio is ideal for a Sunday afternoon beer.

Do you want a great place to get some awesome pizza and to watch some awesome bands perform at the same time? Then this is it! On most nights you can catch some kind of live entertainment across all genres of music from jazz, Electronic jams, house jazz, metal, improve jams, local and national talent, alternative, bluegrass, country/southern rock, and everything else in-between! The owner is an awesome owner/operator and the bartenders are on Point. Anyone who’s anyone should get down to Tate St and check out NYP!!!!

Stopped by tonight with a friend to grab a couple stromboli. Decided to have a beer while we waited. Unbelievable service at both the order window and bar. Red Oak on tap along with daily drink specials, super fun bar atmosphere with a laid-back vibe, and a very generous host when I needed extra dipping sauces for the food. The bartender handled the entire room evenly, as well, which is a nice surprise. The room was warm, welcoming, and maybe even a little potential to get rowdy in a friendly way over bar trivia.
The stromboli was next-level good. Stuffed with amazing cheese and meats, and the sausage seems to be a boudin-blanc style sliced thin…it’s perfect for the Italian flavor without overpowering the sweet and salty crust, spicy pepperoni, or the chewy cheese. Seriously might have been the best stromboli I’ve ever had.
I hadn’t been in years but this is now my go-to spot for anything Italian street-food (hand food, not street food, my bad…they have everything from pizza to chicken parm to arancini). You can grab a beer with a friend while you wait for them to fire your pizza/stromboli/calzone and not only will it be a chill time, it’ll make you understand the difference between paying for quality and paying for the garbage that’s available just up the road at the same price.
I can’t say enough good things about this experience. I’m only sorry that my camera can’t do this justice.
