We recently celebrated our son’s baptism at Primi Italian steakhouse and it was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel like family — attentive, professional, and genuinely kind. Every detail was beautifully handled, from the table settings to the timing of the meal.
The food was absolutely exceptional — every dish was delicious. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about it! The atmosphere was warm and elegant, creating the perfect setting for such a special occasion.
Planning an event can be stressful, but Ayelen and her team made it effortless. They went above and beyond to make our day memorable, and were so accommodating every step of the way. We can’t wait to come back — not only for another celebration, but just to enjoy their amazing food again.

I had my wedding at Primi on 9/19/25 and it was a perfect evening! The entire staff was so friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, and it’s just truly a beautiful restaurant. My husband and I ate here a few times before our big day to try out different meals and we had a hard time narrowing down the choices! It’s all prepared so well. We will definitely be back!

I visited Primi last night for my 40th birthday. It’s a beautiful restaurant with dark, lush interior. I loved the wallpaper, lol. Our server was fantastic. No issues there. I ordered a French martini, which was fine. I would have liked it to be a little sweeter. But that’s just personal preference! The Biscoff espresso martini is amazing, though! I highly recommend getting one of those! For our appetizers we had the stuffed mushrooms and baked clams. The mushrooms were mushy and flavorless. You could have told me they were from the frozen foods section at stop n shop, and I would have believed you. The baked clams,while nice flavor wise were so big and chewy that I was gagging trying to get them down. Clams that big should honestly be chopped. I’m not sure if that was an option, but we weren’t asked. Now on to our mains. 3 out of the 6 of us ordered the beef Wellington. And all 3 of us agreed that it was bland and flavorless. We were begging for salt and pepper! The mashed potatoes and asparagus that accompanied the meal were good though. We also ordered a side of creamed spinach, which was watery and again could have used some salt. I’m not sure if we ordered the wrong items or if it was just an off night, but I was really looking forward to this meal and I was sadly disappointed. I’d truly only come back for another espresso martini. The food here is sadly a skip for me.

My experience was on the limited Valentines Day prefix menu. I’ll start with the positives. Ambiance was great, it well put together and the staff and service matched the expectations. Now the negative aspects. The food on the other hand was disappointing. The fried buratta was cold and the vodka sauce was wattery and underwhelming for the dish. And my wife had the shrimp cocktail that she enjoyed. We had the porterhouse for 2. The meat was obviously exceptional quality but a little under cooked for my likeing at mid rare/med but expected at a high end steakhouse. Under seasoned and no options for added sauces or even salt on the table or offered. Desert was good but not great. For a $610 bill with the 25ish% tip on a 2 top..I’ve had better experiences at Prime, Tellers, and Vintage. Then on the exit, and this pissed me off… The vallet driver curbed the rim on someone’s car damaging it, and had no care. Im not saying it was terrible but for the price point, these details matter!

Italian food was great, we had the burrata and calamari, great! However when it came to sides like the truffle French fires and Mac and cheese it was very disappointing. Our waitress was great, she understood and tried to rectify our situation however it was not what we expected . Drinks were great as well. Porterhouse was cooked to perfection however bland, peppercorn sauce really made it yummy. Wouldn’t be my first choice to go back for a steakhouse but not horrible either.

I don’t normally leave reviews but I feel compelled to leave one now. It’s true what they say: staff can make or break an establishment. And the staff here are some of the most kindest, sociable, attentive staff I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. From the hostess to the waiters, everyone is in such a good mood and are very helpful. Not to mention, the food is incredibly good too. It’s hard to find such a gem out east, but I’ve found it at Primi. From the atmosphere (the bathroom is an amazing selfie spot) to the food (steaks cooked to perfection and seasoned perfectly) to the staff – it’s all a slam dunk. 10/10 Would recommend. Pro tip: get the rack of lamb, thank me later.

Overly polite and friendly staff from valet parking,coat check, hosteses, hosts buss boys, and wait staff. Food was out of this world. The filet minion made me cry. It was as good as my dads and his was the best I ever had anywhere. Beef wellington was delicious. Brussel sprouts were roasted to a perfect char taste was yummy and sweet. Stuffed mushrooms were perfect loved the stuffing the steak house bacon appetizer in a bourbon sauce we did not want to stop eating. My husband was in a food stupor by the time we left. Our waiter was Calvin A. He was so personable. He had great suggestions and took a photo for us.

we here on NYE was a terrible experience. food was terrible service was terrible. was sold something i did not receive. left right after dinner. it was a complete circus. spent over 500 and 1 week prior over 600. i would never step foot in that door and don’t recommend to anyone. we were told one thing and got another. when complained manager said come back again and ill discount. good try to get another big sale. i can name 10 other places that would of handle this different. i plan to share my story all over social media so people stay far away.
