Seriously, $24.44 for this? This place has become a complete joke. The burrito is super small. I haven’t came here in months because of the quality of food they started to give and decided to give it another chance and as you see below this place has gone down the drain. Not even just this location but also the one on DI, the one on Galleria, and the one in Windmill also. I use to swear by Rivas being the best mexican fast food establishment but I dont know if its because they have so many locations that the prices went through the roof and the quality of the food through the sewer but I hope something changes because it’s sad to have constant bad experiences at their locations.

Their carne asada is straight up trash — hands down the worst quality carne I’ve ever had from any fast food spot, including taco trucks. Every bite was a challenge, packed with gristly bits that were impossible to chew, making the entire experience unpleasant and downright disgusting. To make matters worse, the meat was completely flavorless, as if no seasoning touched it at all. If I could give it 0 stars, I would. Save your money and your taste buds this place is not worth it.

We decided to try this Mexican grill out due to the reviews and we were sadly disappointed. Both the steak burrito and steak tacos were extremely dry. The streak tacos were super greasy and the tortilla wasn’t really cooked at all so they just ripped apart. Tasted bland even with the Pico and guac. Shrimp tacos had very small portions and one of the tacos looks to be about half of the other. Mostly just Pico and guac on both maybe 3 shrimps on each taco. Overpriced for what we got.

There’s a large sign posted which states .99 tacos every Wednesday. I came in today, on Wednesday, and was quoted $20 + for chicken fries and 2 chicken tacos. When I asked why so much, I was told the tacos are $3.50. Apparently, they make a batch in the morning and once they sell out the tacos are sold at $3.50. This is a scam. I left and canceled the entire order. Don’t waste your time coming here. You will be overcharged. I drove to the galleria location and they charged me .99 for the tacos. I’ll never return to this location again.

I ordered the chicken & steak fajitas and even paid for extra meat and the proteins were tiny when I asked why the register lady said” people would complain about big portions so that’s how they make them now. ” I’ve been to many Rivas I’ve only had this problem at this location. Not cool.
