Twin Rivers Wolf And Wolfdog Sanctuary
Chile relleno with shredded chicken, charro beans and vegetables instead of rice. I will be honest when I say that over a year ago, I was not happy with the food or service. This time was perfection. I had a very kind and professional server. The margarita beat anything I have had in the Whole of Brazos and Grimes County. The food was perfect. Please give this restaurant a try. You will not be disappointed. It might seem out if the way, but it was worth it!

Probably been a dozen or more times since it opened and really enjoy it. I don’t know why some people complain about the salsa because it’s great. I think when they opened it took a little while for the waitstaff to get their feet under them. They have improved their game and now pretty consistently do a good job. My favorite dish is the Pollo Cozumel it’s great. Always fresh and cooked perfectly. And the flan is delicious too. They aren’t big on ever picking up the phone which makes to-go ordering difficult and though I’m in the minority in town I wish they’d leave the politics out of the restaurant regardless of who they voted for. Lastly, it’s not cheap by any means, but not much is these days I suppose. All in all Agave Azul is a welcome addition to Iola and I’m glad they’re here.

Attended a private party and was happy with the food, the drinks and the service. My lemon drop martini was scrumptious. The street tacos were plentiful and delicious. Everyone was served quickly by friendly accommodating waitstaff.

Literally 2 tablespoons of salsa which I finished 10 minutes before my food came. No one checked on me the whole time I was there. No refill offered. 3 employees, 2 guys and 1 girl on their phones the whole time. I finished my soggy taco salad (still looking for the taco meat), guy came and took my plate 15 minutes ago, here I sit, no ticket because they are still on their phones. What a disappointment. Never again. *I have never ever complained about a meal or service, but this takes the cake. Omg, I finally asked for my ticket, my waiter/cashier brings it, I fill it out, wait and wait, finally just take it to him, I am so sorry I disturbed him cleaning his fingernails with a toothpick. Just nasty.

We’ve been several times and everything we’ve tried on the menu has been really good. The pastor tacos are some of the best I’ve had, and the service has been great, as well. The chicken fajita nachos are great and my son says the beef fajita nachos are the best he’s ever had. Caution if you order the huaraches – they’re huge and nearly impossible for one person to eat. But they’re really good, too.

The food was delicious! We were a party of 9, and everyone raved about their food. It was truly the best Mexican food I’ve had in a very long time–maybe ever. We’ll go back the next time we’re in Iola.
