This Mediterranean restaurant was incredibly inviting from the moment we arrived. The staff greeted us immediately and seated us promptly. The interior décor was thoughtfully designed, and having visited Petra before, it was especially neat to recognize some of the cultural details.
Our server, Dominic, took excellent care of my family and was very attentive throughout our visit. I ordered the gyro and chicken plate, and it was absolutely delicious. The meats were full of flavor with just the right amount of crispy char where it counted.
Portion sizes were generous, and we even had leftovers to take home. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and a place we’d happily return to.

Great café-style Lebanese and Greek food with outstanding service by Jad. We called ahead to make a reservation for a party of 12, and everything was handled smoothly. The service was excellent throughout our visit. We ordered the veggie plate, falafel wrap, chicken shawarma, lamb, and several other dishes (not all pictured). Everything was served fresh and hot, exactly how we like it. The falafel wrap could have used a bit more condiments, but once we asked, they happily brought hot sauce and garlic sauce. Overall, a wonderful dining experience and one we’d gladly repeat.

Had a fantastic meal! Our server, Dominic, was great and very attentive. They were also able to accommodate my sister (celiac disease) with gluten free food. Will definitely be returning!! I got the Petra sandwich and loved it.

The portions are huge! I had the house special lamb and it was super tender. Domminick was an amazing guy who greeted us as soon as we came in. Highly recommend this place.

Amazing service and food! I had the combination plate and dolmas and they were really good. Our server was super friendly and attentive and gave us a free dessert at the end. 100% recommend trying Cafe Petra out if you haven’t.

By far out favorite restaurant and one if not rhe best restaurant experience in al Houston and Katy area. I have no words to explain the joy I feel when. I see my son wrapping his chicken tenders with pita bread and asking what is left in a to go box; the only restaurant he does that. A fusion between Mediterranean flavors, that get you transported to another continent. Their great tea lemonade, Mediterranean Hummus, the gyros with gorgeous chicken and pickles and a magnificent Tiramisu for dessert have no price. Small, intimate, very clean neat and 5 stars attention; one of the very few restaurants with refill for their home made drinks and a very incredibly reasonable prices; you can’t ask more. Nothing is perfect in this life but Cafe Petra is very close to it and excellent cosplay for perfection. I recommend them 1000%; you will come to knock my door just to say thank you!

Really enjoyed my lunch at Cafe Petra Katy. The food was freshly prepared, the portions were large and food was wonderful. The presentation was beautiful. I encourage people to experience the great food, service and pleasant atmosphere. I really hope they are busier at night than they were for a late lunch on a Saturday. I had so much food left from my vegetarian plate that I got 2 more meals out of what I took home. You won’t leave hungry. The food looked and smelled so good I didn’t take pictures. Monday through Friday they have a lunch menu.
