We love SaBai so much. The food is truly authentic, and the staff are amazing. Chef Pam is incredible. We absolutely love her cooking. Rin, our lovely waitress, always takes such great care of us. She makes us feel so welcome and provides excellent service every time. We come back to eat here very often. Our favorites are the Som Tum, Larb, Suki, Chicken Wings, Pad Thai, curries and many more etc. And of course, the Thai tea and mango sticky rice are absolutely delicious. We love this place! Super duper highly recommend!

This has become my favorite lunch place. I have always played it safe and ordered the Pad Thai. It is consistently perfect. I’ve never ordered any of the curry since I had no idea what it tasted like. I told the waitress that and she brought me a little cup to try. It was great. They have three kinds. I’ve had the yellow and red, both I really like. It is a sweet milk based dish with different vegetables in it depending on the dish. If in doubt, ask for a taste. Highly recommend. The first two are photos of the Duck Noodle soup and the red curry. The others are fried rice with beef, red curry and Thai tea crème brûlée!

This photo doesn’t do the food any justice!! I wish I had taken more, but I was ready to dig in! Overall incredible food experience. Customer service was top tier. Friendly and super professional. I took my order to go, but the location was clean and the ambience was awesome. I can’t say enough about the food. Fresh vegetables, generous with the shrimp, fantastic sauce. I will be returning for sure.

Great meal, in a charming space. Our server was attentive, greeting us as “friends,” which felt sweet and inclusive. Tom Kha is always a favorite and theirs was exceptionally good. Pad Thai and Pad See Ew are were both delicious. And I appreciated that they had feminine hygiene products in the bathroom. Plus my noodles were served with an adorable ghost skewer! Will definitely come back the next time we’re in town.

Grabbed the lunch Pad Thai with chicken and chicken satay. Pad Thai was flavorful with a nice balance of sweet and savory, and the chicken satay was grilled just right. Portions were generous for a lunch special, and everything came out fast—food was ready right when they said it would be, which I really appreciated.

Also got a Thai ice tea, and it was creamy, and not overly sweet. Perfect way to round out the meal.

They’ve got a few tables outside for alfresco dining, which is a nice touch. Chill vibe inside, friendly staff, and no wait during lunch. Definitely worth a stop if you’re craving Thai without the fuss.

This is hands down the best Thai restaurant in America! Honestly, the flavors are even better than some places back in Thailand perfectly bold, rich, and deeply satisfying. Every dish is packed with that authentic zesty-spicy-umami punch that Thai food lovers crave. They use only high-quality, fresh ingredients and you can taste the difference in every bite. Super clean kitchen, spotless restrooms, and the service? Absolutely amazing. The staff are so sweet, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. 10/10 would recommend ,I’d give it 100 stars if I could!

We returned to Sabai on Jefferson recently, fueled by the memory of the traditional, delicious flavors we experienced during our last visit a few months ago. Unfortunately, this visit felt quite different, as several dishes seemed to have strayed from the classic preparations we remembered.

Chicken Satay: This was the undisputed highlight of the meal. It was cooked perfectly—tender, flavorful, and exactly the quality we’ve come to expect here.

Tom Yum Soup: This was our biggest surprise. While traditionally a clear or creamy herb-forward broth, this version arrived with broccoli in it. It was an unexpected addition that shifted the flavor profile away from the traditional Thai taste we were craving.

Pad Thai: The lunch portion size was minimal and the dish was unfortunately overly salty, which overpowered the delicate balance of sweet and tangy that makes a great Pad Thai.

It feels like there may have been some changes in the kitchen or the recipes since our last visit. While the service remains friendly and the Satay is still top-tier, the departure from traditional recipes for the soup and the seasoning issues with the noodles were disappointing.
We’ve loved this spot in the past, so we’re hoping this was just an “off” night or a temporary transition period.

Sabai Thai on Jefferson is hands-down one of the best restaurants in Pensacola. The food is always fresh, authentic, and full of flavor — every dish comes out perfectly balanced and beautifully prepared. You can tell they take pride in everything they do.

But the real standout is the service, especially Maddie. She’s the best server in the building — warm, attentive, and genuinely great at what she does. She anticipates what you need before you even ask, gives amazing recommendations, and makes the entire experience feel relaxed and enjoyable. She’s a huge part of why this place feels so special.

If you want incredible Thai food and top-tier service, Sabai Thai is the spot. Can’t recommend it enough.

Had a delicious lunch here for three today and found SaBai cozy and chic. The service was prompt and friendly as well as knowledgeable. Bar and kitchen service was quick and dishes presented well and were all delicious and more than we could eat. Facility is spotless clean and comfortable. They have beer wine and saki but not a full bar. Fully recommend this place.
