After a long day exploring Capitol Reef we arrived to Torrey finding it mostly closed lucky for us Rim Rock is open year round and we were so pleasantly surprised it put a real smile on our faces . It’s a super cosy bar and pizza place, service is great and there’s a fab range of Utah craft beers. Pizza is pan style and arrived piping hot, exactly what we needed after the trails. We also got to sing happy birthday to our fellow diners, thanks to the team and we would definitely call again!

For being in the desert, this place raises the bar compared to other spots in town.

We’ve dined several times, but had a group event there recently, and was blown away by the service and speed.

Pizzas came out hot and fresh, drinks were smooth orders inside, water was always available outside, and the views are stunning. Plus they have bands, fun events, horseshoes to play, and much more.

Fun place for small or large groups. Always a hit!

The pizza is really good! Thicker, soft crust. Lots of topping options. They have a good selection of other options too, but we went for the pizza and it was great.

Fairly priced, especially considering the tourist focused area. Really great service.

TLDR: Fantastic server, tasty food, reasonable prices–this place doesn’t pretend to be anything. They excel at getting you fed and leaving you smiling!

We ordered a small salad with bleu cheese dressing, baked spaghetti with meat boulders and red sauce, and mushroom ravioli with pesto alfredo. Each were excellent, especially the pesto alfredo and mushroom ravioli (we ordered extra garlic bread to get all the sauce)! My only critique is that the term boulder might be a bit on the exaggerated side, but the taste was great.

We expected simple, flavorful, and fun–that’s just what we got here. Our server was direct and spunky, but very attentive and friendly! She’s exactly what we had hoped for in our search for a decent meal after a long day at the park!! Other restaurants in Torrey are either way overpriced, or try to look fancy and end up giving you slow service with bland food. This place is thoughtful, unique, and awesome!

Prices are completely fair, and the dining room is well decorated and has great character. It’s not a fine dining establishment, and it doesn’t pretend to be. If you need good food and you want to be treated well, this is exactly what you are looking for. Compliments to the owner (maybe the same person as our server?) on creating such a special place, thank you!

Good food, pizza was pretty good. We ordered a “family salad” and it was a plate of mixed lettuce from the grocery store with a few mushrooms and a small cup of ranch. A little disappointing for 9 dollars. Overall pretty good we would go back but not get the salad!!

Updated…..we went back. We had a large group (10) and things were meh. Pizza was ok, it needs more sauce, cheese sticks were ok, salads still SUCK! With the larger party size they automatically added gratuity to the bill, waitress was pretty good but cheated herself out of a bigger tip by implementing the auto tip function. It was colder outside (mid October) so everyone was eating inside making it loud and cramped. Still not a horrible place to go, but it could be better.

Casual restaurant with great views of the mountains from its patio seating. We came during a less busy time intentionally to better enjoy our experience. The wait staff was very attentive and our food was made well and tasted great. I only gave it 4 stars for food because it was good, but nothing I haven’t already had in terms of quality and taste.

There was indoor and outdoor seating. I loved the patio seating though. They had a small stage for entertainment, shaded and unshaded seating, yard games and disc golf available for use outdoors.

Service was outstanding. We came for dinner, went out to see the sunset at the park and then came back for dessert. Dinner consisted of a sausage pizza with an order of spaghetti and meatballs. Both were excellent. For dessert we had the bundt cake and brownie both with ice cream. Well worth the second trip back. No pictures of the dessert because by the time i got my phone out they were almost gone and i had to fight to get some for myself.

Stopped in for some pizza after a long day hiking and driving. Definitely not the best pizza you’ll ever have, but for the area and price, it’s a great place to stop, rest, and get some good food. Service was pretty quick too. Would recommend
