Valentino was a really great experience. Our waiter patiently explained each dish and gave some helpful recommendations. I tried the Chicken Marsala and it was amazing, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The service made the night feel extra nice and the cozy vibe of the place was really welcoming. I would definitely go back for another great meal.

What a fantastic restaurant. Located in a historic house, it still has an old world charm with different rooms including a nice bar. The food was excellent including my favourite Banana Fosters for desert. The service is excellent while not being intrusive.

It was a great dinner to celebrate my birthday at Valentino’s. I wanted a great Italian meal and mission accomplished. The tableside Caesar salad is a must-have. One of the best cuts of veal I’ve had in a long time. Really enjoyable start to finish.

It’s a little more upscale than I was aware. But I wasn’t made to feel any kind of way about it. I love the locale of it, same owner for 30 years. Mike was phenomenal explaining the history and providing excellent service. They have gf pasta and Bananas Foster-made table side.

Fine traditional Italian restaurant in a great location with perfect ambiance. The seafood special with risotto was one of the finest dishes I’ve ever had, and the traditional fettuccine was perfectly prepared. Top it all off with a scrumptious tiramisu, highly recommended!

Such a cute local place away from the busyness. My second time there and everything is delicious. Super service, one of a kind atmosphere and delicious Italian food. Frutti de Mare was great, espresso rubbed steak, chicken Parmesan and lobster ravioli. Tiramisu and espresso martini was yummy too.

I really wanted to try this restaurant. The reviews had me sold! The food was good (but my lobster ravioli was not hot) which ruined the taste of the meal. The calamari we ordered was hot, fresh and flavorful. The staff…were simply and admittedly overwhelmed and while I could understand their frustration…we also felt let down as a consumers. It just made for a bad experience overall!!
Management should do a better job with observing major calendars and events to better equip your staff. The next time that I’m in town…I will give them a second try. However, it MUST be on a slower night and when they are in a place to serve all guests with the same level of service.

Mama Mia! We had one of the best Italian meals tonight at Valentino’s Ristorante in Nashville. The service was excellent, and the food was magnificent! Very nice wine selection too. We’ll definitely be going back again.

Excellent meal and service. If not for the wonderful southern accents you would swear you were in Manhattan’s Little Italy. We were staying at the Hutton across the street from the restaurant. We walked in at 5:00 to see the menu and consider dining here later that evening. The restaurant was full at 7 when we wanted to dine. The manager said to come back at 7 and he would find a table for us. He did just that. He added a small table for 2 for my wife and I and I could not be more happy that he did. Don’t miss this extradinary restaurant. It was the highlight of our trip to Nashville.
