We dined at Cassano’s Pizza in Quincy around 8:00 pm on December 29, 2025, and the experience was very disappointing due to conditions completely out of the employees’ control.
It was 19 degrees outside, and there was no heat inside the restaurant. The thermostat inside read 58 degrees, (but was set at 70degrees a not functioning) which made it extremely uncomfortable to sit and eat. We were told the heater has been broken for the entire month of December. Management is apparently aware of the issue but has refused to repair it. That is unacceptable, both for customers and for the employees who are expected to work in those conditions.
Our server was good, and the employees were very polite and doing their best despite the situation. Unfortunately, good service couldn’t make up for the environment.
As for the food, the pizza was very greasy—so much so that we had to use napkins to soak up the dripping oil. The crust was extremely thin, almost like a tortilla shell, which wasn’t enjoyable.
Overall, this was a poor experience. The staff deserves credit, but management’s refusal to fix basic heating in freezing temperatures is unacceptable and overshadows everything else.

This is a nice pizza and sun sandwich spot for the area. I came in early for my visit and of course it was fast and friendly. but driving by around the lunch hour I see this place can get pretty busy. I tried their pizza cheese steak sandwich, little messy but very tasty. The bread was really delicious and soft. Now the restaurant itself has quite a bit of dining in space. They also offer plenty of parking in the back.

Came here looking for a snack and we were pleased! We got jalapeno poppers for an appetizer and we both ordered a 6″ pizza. Even though they were small, the pizzas were loaded with toppings and tasted delicious. It hit the spot!

Limp thin crust pizza cut into tiny squares. Sweet tomato paste for sauce that reminded me of school pizza. Flavorless sausage.
With only two other parties in the restaurant we waited nearly 15 minutes for the waitress to take our order while she talked to her friends behind us.

Went to Cassano’s pizza and subs in Quincy. Instantly greeted by staff who was great the whole time. Very fast service and waiter was always around asking if we needed refills or anything else. Very friendly and kind staff. Clean store. I would give the service a 10 if I could. The food was excellent. Got the fried pickles and breaded mushrooms and they were amazing. Came with a ton of ranch too which was great. For dinner I got the large pork fritter and it was excellent. I would recommend Cassano’s to anybody. This was my first time eating here and definitely won’t be my last.

I feel sorry for the ppl who work here. The prices have gone up beyond acceptability. Recently I ordered a MEDIUM Vics big cheese (yes it’s loaded with extra toppings) and the price was $27!!! $2 goes straight to Pritzker no doubt. So $25 for a MEDIUM pizza. To the owners of the establishment I bid you a farewell and wish you well. Unfortunately this consumer is not about to pay an extra $10 per pizza to offset your operating costs that include multiple Hyundai vehicles. I am not helping buy your cars so you can offer delivery and spread the costs amongst all your customers. There are too many other pizza places with far better prices and while the food at Casannos is excellent its not worth the added up charges. Good luck but you’ve lost me as a customer.
