Been going to Lawler’s on Jeff Road since 2009 regularly for family meals and group gatherings during rush time, off time, and even buy the day before for group gatherings. Their food and service have been outstanding. Portions have been plenty and good quality. Like other places, there is turnover with staff, increased cost, and different portions. The last group gathering we bought for a few months ago, the meat was not packed in the container like it has always been. Last month, got two stuffed potatoes for dinner to find the size of the potato slightly smaller, almost no cheese, less meat, and the potato dry. Tonight, picked up two stuffed potatoes ($16). Our potatoes were cut in half. There was barely any potato skin. Half the meat and cheese as normal. Usually, get this to have leftovers for lunch the next day. Tonight, there was barely enough to eat. Definitely not worth $16! Despite the convenience and long history with Lawlers, we cannot use them as our old reliable go to place. Other customers must be having similar experiences.

We have been getting BBQ/Turkey stuffed taters weekly at Jeff Rd for several years now. We SO look forward to this every week!! The crew at Jeff Rd are wonderful and never disappoint. Baked turkey potato was fantastic and so was the Brunswick stew. Atmosphere is ok but you can’t expect a lot from a drive through or pick up only joint. Everything was really clean inside, though, and our food was ready in less than 2 minutes. We will definitely be back!

We had an excellent experience using the drive-through. The service was fast, friendly, and convenient . Ben went above and beyond with his great attitude and customer service. When he found out it was my son’s birthday, he surprised him with a cookie, which absolutely made his day. Thank you, Ben for such a thoughtful and memorable experience!

Lawler’s Bar-B-Q has always been good, but since Ben became the manager, it’s been fantastic. He truly sets the tone—welcoming, friendly, and genuinely invested in making everyone feel at home. The atmosphere feels warmer, the service is consistently great, and you can tell the team enjoys being there. Shoutout to Natalie, Gregg, and Johnathon as well—they’re all wonderful and help make every visit a great experience. Highly recommend stopping by Lawler’s Bar-B-Q.

I come here pretty much every day and the people that work here are always so nice and welcoming. You can tell they really work hard and actually care about what they’re serving. The service is always great and the food is consistently good. Everyone is friendly and makes you feel comfortable every time you walk in. Definitely a place I recommend (if you haven’t been), you should check it out.

25/10 love their barbecue. I always go there almost every week after a hard days work from Edgar’s. The manager recognized me and knows my name. He’s a really sweet guy and the employees are very friendly and nice. I 100 percent recommend Lawlers as the King of Barbecue
