I usually love this place but my lord. I know people have their off days but I can’t believe they let this box of tenders go out of that window. They are pulled and broken in places and just look gross to me and they gave me like a third of the fries I usually get or maybe even less than that. They charged me around $10 for this.

I mulled over writing this review or calling corporate all day yesterday. I decided to do both cause I’m still so mad. I was eating in the dining room with my family yesterday March 6. We eat here usully once a week and the service has gone down so much in the last 6 months or so but it is kinda tradition so we keep coming back. Yesterday one of the managers i can’t remember her name but she’s been there a while was crying in the dining room and it sounded like she said f-word Indians under her breath. She looked right at us when she said it. For the record my husband is not Indian but he is darker skinned and we were disgusted by her words. I will say I guess I could have misheard. My husband didnt hear it. But if not that kind of racism in our town should not be tolerated! IF we decide to come back and she is there we will walk right back out again. No one wants to see a manager giving a tantrum while trying to eat anyway.

What is going on at this place? You walk in and feel unwanted right away anyone you speak to is rude or too busy with their faces in phones to acknowledge you. The lady taking my order rolled her eyes after I was told they were out of chocolate ice cream and I asked if they could put chocolate syrup in vanilla didn’t think that was too crazy of a request. My wife had to use the bathroom while we waited and one of the employees starts beating on the door like she had a warrant and another employee laughed at my wife when she came out scared thinking she did something wrong. The shakes were bland with no flavor of hot chocolate or strawberry. So if you’re looking for a place with terrible customer service and food this is the spot for you. Should have checked the reviews before coming hopefully mine saves someone from this dirty unprofessional establishment.

We came around 12 noon today and ordered a strawberry sundae and chocolate sundae and a truffle pecan blizzard a there wasn’t any ice cream in the sundaes an the blizzard the girl didn’t turn it upside down cause if she had if it would have went everywhere cause that’s how melted it was it was horrible an I paided for this

Mediocre location. Small location, but service was fast (except for coffee), but attention to details is lacking. Fries is soggy too. Even the cherry slushie feels chemical when you get to the bottom of it. Better to visit the Blue Ridge location

I have always loved the Ellijay Dairy Queen. I miss the fact they stopped doing breakfast but I understand it. I love their tender basket. It’s my absolute favorite not to mention the ice cream.

The food has been going downhill for a while but when this is the amount of fries in a basket and a coke with hardly any syrup, just carbonated water.
Not an issue except I already drove home and they will not answer the phone. It’s a shame when I was a kid dq was the place to eat and hangout now it’s just a tourist catering business. Shameful

I don’t like doing this but it needs to be said. I’ve been coming to this spot regularly for years. I used to come after church but over the last few months it has really gone downhill. Last week was the last straw. The workers are rude and loud. They’re on their phones or standing around talking and I been ignored at the front counter too many times now. The place is always dirty. I or my wife would speak to a manager but between being ignored and hearing the workers talk about how the managers are screwing each other after hours makes this place somewhere I no longer want to spend money. I have grandkids. Dairy Queen should be a family place. I won’t bring them somewhere where that kind of nasty talk is going on. But the owner should know what’s going on. Do your business a favor. Clean the place up. I also want to remind the owner that this is a small town and word of mouth is very important. Clean this place up before you lose all your customers.

theres alot of talk about this place and how downhill its gone. everybody knows the managers are having an innapropriate relationship there and that it aint a family place anymore. everyone including managers are always rude and the place has gotten dirtier. my family and church stopped visiting after word got around. and if what we see is dirty what we dont see is probably worse. we went back to see if its changed and you still got the same managers working there flies everywhere and all i see changed is a longer drive thru. this is a christian town and the owner needs to do better.
