Foods ok if you can get someone to take your order. We waited 40 mintes we finally just left and went some where else that actually wants to serve customers. In that time the person that set us down helped 4 other people that came and set at the bar but didnt dring us our drinks or ask if we wanted any food what a great birthday meal. I would suggest going somewhere else if you want service in a timely manner.Especially on an important day like your birthday or you need to set up something with them ahead of time , and maybe it would go better. This was around 4pm also.

Yeah, this is one of those high volume basic service establishments that have little time for the Saturday happy hour crowd minus a local football game. I entered the building at just after 3pm and discovered overly loud country music (loudness was what I would expect after 8pm, but maybe I’m old school and like to talk to my neighbors at the bar). I walked right by the gal who was apparently the bar tender when I headed to the bar and sat down. She remained stuck at the table behind me and to my right talking to ?regulars? After 3 to 5 minutes and two trips to the bar by the waitress, I saw out of the corner of my eye that one of the patrons at the table the bartender was talking at, pointed out to her that there was someone new at the bar. She came about, and after a moment, was there to help serve me. The time spent wondering if I was being ignored and noting the now non-country music played too loud allowed me to assess the other issues with this place: the taps (featuring mostly industrial beers and a couple of popular locally brewed beers, but nothing really unique), were mounted high enough that it was difficult for this patron grabbing the last seat that had any view of a television to see most televisions except for the one in front of him. The smell: yes, heavily chlorinated…which to me as a former barkeep, tells me they have A LOT of spilled drinks and puke at late nights. I ordered breaded mushrooms to go and a 16oz glass of a local hazy IPA that I was a fan of. Hmm, that local hazy IPA tased NOTHING like that beer should taste like. Ok, probably the excessive sanitizer on the glass combined with too cold lines serving the taps (because how can you drink that industrial stuff without it being almost freezing?). The mushrooms arrived before I had half the beer consumed (so an A+ for speed of kitchen service!). Mushrooms consumed later were slightly overcooked (just beyond golden brown for those breaded mushrooms).

I left the bar just over $20 with my very minimal tip while the music was still blaring. Noted about 25-35 patrons while there. Most drinking canned industrial beer.

At one time this building was home to a respectable pizza place. They still serve pizza. I last had their pizza many years ago, so I would enjoy trying it again and comparing it to my memories, but without an environment that supports my enjoyment of that pizza, I doubt I will get that chance.

First thing I thought was that the place could use a little renovation. Bushwoods looked kind of worn and the parking lot has a couple of potholes that need filling.

The place was pretty busy when I got there; no surprise since it was Saturday evening. If you go there on a weekend and you order food, expect to wait. The service was fine but they could really use some extra employees to help manage the orders better.

The server who went around my area was pleasant and helped out promptly when a guy accidentally spilled his drink. Props to her for efficiency and courtesy.

I only ordered some cheese fries and they were quite tasty. The ranch sauce was a welcome accompaniment to the dish and the fries didn’t skimp on the bacon. I had considered getting the chicken nachos but the sheer size drove me away (something like that ought to be shared among several people).

I’m not big on bars but all things considered, the service was respectable and I enjoyed the food I ordered.

We ordered 75 hand tossed pizzas for a company lunch. EVERYONE loved the pizza and even though they stated they only had 1 pizza oven when we ordered we still gave them a shot. I was not sure……..OMG they NAILED IT and all the pizzas were still very warm. WAY TO GO KITCHEN!!! It was a HIT!!! Thanks for helping us load them and thanks for the wonderful pizza!!!!!!!

The service was excellent. Server came to the table within a few minutes of us being seated. We ordered our drinks, got them within 3 minutes. We ordered an appetizer and our food. The appetizer came out within 10 minutes and the main course came back after we got done with the appetizer. We got refills without asking. The food was priced right on. Right place to watch a game and have a conversation.

After talking with people after a Cedar Rapids Kernels game I decided to go with them to this sports bar. It was right around when they stopped serving food but it was not terribly busy. I ordered the French dip with Swiss cheese and fries. Very good and very big portions for the price would definitely recommend and would come here again.
