Unfortunately, the service was inconsistent. After waiting over 20 minutes to be seated, we ordered drinks and two sushi rolls. Our server (working near the wine glass section) did not confirm the order. When only one roll arrived, she stated she had only entered one item and showed visible annoyance rather than offering an apology or explanation
Re-ordering the second roll took an additional 30+ minutes.
A male server later stepped in and was polite, apologetic, and professional , which helped improve the experience — but the initial service issues were disappointing.
Bottom line: Outstanding food, but service needs better training and consistency. I would absolutely return for the sushi, and I hope the front-of-house experience improves to match the kitchen’s quality
Well mannered pet friendly, The owner even brought dog treats over for a dog.
Staff is incredibly friendly & upbeat
Sushi, sashimi and all food is fresh and beautifully presented
Full bar
Can be busy at peak hours
So go early
If not it is definitely worth the wait
We ordered multiple items- chicken teriyaki bento, 2 rolls, chicken udon, salmon sashimi and uni.
Overall food was ok. Ok, because everything was overwhelmingly covered in sauce, except the sashimi and maybe uni. The rolls had good flavor and were really big, but again so much sauce. Bento- highlight the is salad and soup. The tempura was a little stale and chicken was drowning in sauce.
The sushi was excellent quality and tasted amazing. Without a doubt I will be going here again.
I ate a roll and a half before remembering to take a pic so sorry for my half eaten dish photo. I scarfed this stuff up… so so good.
My entree was a very large portion, reasonably priced and I’d recommend this over the smaller portion Combo box. The quality of the chicken was fair.
Tempura was among the worst I’ve had in relation to the dozens of Japanese restaurants I’ve dined in throughout the state. The fish in the sushi roll was lacking in texture, taste, and temperature.
Two different music tracks playing at the same time in this small venue, with the volume changing erratically, before being completely turned off. This created a strange ambiance. Our clothing required washing afterward, as they were saturated with the smell of rancid oil, suggesting that the quality of air circulation was insufficient.
Out the door cost: $100 for two.
