Bangkok Thai & Sushi was excellent! Quick, clean, and friendly service. Great flavors all around — the BBQ pork wonton soup special was amazing, and the Tom Yum soup was fantastic. Generous lunch portions at great prices. Definitely coming back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We stopped in on a whim. We were in the area shopping around dinner time and saw the sign from the street. Since we both love Thai food, we decided to give it a try and I’m so glad we did.

First of all, the interior is very nice and the restaurant is quite large. It was pretty busy for a Wednesday night, but we were seated immediately and the staff was very gracious and helpful.

We started with sweet potato tempura and tom yum soup. The tenor was very good, but the sweet potato could’ve been a little softer. My husband ordered the tom yum, which is his favorite soup, and w thee both agreed it was one of the best we’ve ever had – such wonderful flavor.

For our main entrees, I ordered the drunken noodles and he ordered the Thai basil deluxe. Both dishes were delicious. When combined with the friendship and efficient service, this turned into a great overall experience. We’ll definitely be back to try some of the Japanese side of the menu.

Highly recommended!

This was our first time going here. I’ve been wanting to try Bangkok House for a while. We tried a verity of food while we were here. The steak bento box was decent. The sushi was a little dried out and not cut all the way. This caused it to fall apart. The steak was tougher and larger pieces than most other places’ bento boxes. The other sushis we got were better. I had the cool summer roll. It tasted awesome but was difficult to keep together. The curry dish I had, was one of the best flavored curries I think I’ve ever had. Good value. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. It is a little more expensive than other places we have gone to. We would still return.

Well, that was a pleasant surprise. Not often you can find a good Thai restaurant far from the city, but this place was great. The service was amazing with a small salad with the best ginger dressing ever, then a small egg roll with our appetizer pot stickers. The Thai Basil Deluxe was delicious, sweet, and spicy. They didn’t miss on the flavor! My wife had the Beef Pho and also enjoyed it very much. Add in a great Thai Iced Coffee, and my meal was perfect. I live an hour away, but I’ll bet I return to eat here again
Bonus: they sell the homemade ginger salad dressing! Of course, we took some home.

Wanted some Thai food and decided to give Bangkok Thai a try. Unfortunately, their food was only mediocre and we both left disappointed.

Service was subpar. Our waitress did not smile much. We did not feel welcomed. The restaurant was spacious and clean.

We ordered fried calamari as an appetizer. It was lightly battered and tasted great!

Chicken Pad Thai was a huge disappointment! All I taste was the cheap ketchup they used instead of tamarind. It was definitely NOT worth $15. It was disgusting. If I wanted to eat ketchup with noodles, I would’ve just made that at home. Avoid this dish!! Using ketchup as a cheaper substitute is horrible!

The drunken noodle had better flavor than my ketchup noodles but it was extremely spicy.

We won’t be returning when we are craving Thai food. They do have a large selection of cuisines on their menu that includes Japanese and Chinese as well.

Haven’t been here in a while so we thought we would try it again. Took our food to go. My husband got the pepper steak – lots of chewey/fatty bits he had to spit out. I ordered the vegetarian sweet & sour. Read the menu carefully to avoid allergens. Didn’t see that the item included mushrooms. (Not listed). I thought i tossed out the stray mushroom that landed in the container. There must have been another. Been itching since. Also, 2/4 of my veggie egg rolls tasted like chicken. If you have food restrictions, double check before you take each bite.

Food is incredible! Red Curry Chicken is my favorite, and the Basil Fried Rice with Chicken is good as well. We always order the Chicken Satay as an appetizer and a side order of Potstickers. This is by far one of the best Thai restaurants in the Chicagoland area! Amazing food and very reasonably priced. Great staff and wonderful service.

Came in with a party of 12 with 4 young kids, and was so impressed with how great, fast and prompt the service was. Ordered and the food was out literally in 5 minutes ! Everything was delicious, servers were quick helpful and super friendly. Oh and their Thai tea is BOMB ! Prices are slightly high, but the quick service and deliciousness make up for it!

I got curry, egg rolls, and Thai tea and with tip I paid $50
