The wife and I are new to the area and decided to go out for some Mexican food. I’ve got to say this is hands down the best restaurant food we’ve had in a while. We ordered an agua de tamarindo and an agua de horchata to drink. Wife and I split a Huarache de carne asada and each had 1 sope also carne asada. We also had esquites on the side to share. We left the place stuffed and happy. Eat here! I promise you’ll love it!

I decided to try this place as I happened to be in the area. The print was very small on the menu and I could not read it so I asked the waiter if he had fajitas and he stated that he could make me some. When I say that this is absolutely the most flavorless, horrible food I have ever eaten, I mean it with all my heart. The Mexican rice smelled a little pungent and was mushy almost like the consistency of mashed potatoes. The chicken fajitas had chicken that was so dry. I had to drink water after taking a bite of the chicken. I have no idea what was going on with the refried beans, but again they were very flavorless and did not taste good at all. The most flavorful thing on my plate was the avocado and sliced tomato that was atop my bed of lettuce. I eat at several Mexican restaurants throughout the month and I have never had to add any kind of hot sauce, pepper, salt or anything else to season the food. I literally added two different hot sauces, and salt trying to make it better. On top of this, I was charged $18.70 for this detestable food. I have never paid that much for chicken fajitas. The waiter was very unapologetic about the food. I do not care that your tortillas are handmade if the food that you are supposed to put on the tortilla taste worse than dog food.Needless to say, I will never attend this restaurant again!!!!!!!!!!

So yummy! The salsas and pickled radish were delicious (they were all on the spicy side, so that might not be your thing). I had the chorizo and chicken in tacos and they both great, but the chorizo in particular was the best I’ve had! The tortillas are homemade and super good. The 2 people working were super nice.

Best beef burrito I’ve ever had. Great food and very friendly. Spicy seems to be the standard and I loved it. Wish they had chips so I could have enjoyed more of their delicious salsa verde.

If authentic was a place. This would describe this place from food to salsa to drinks. Taste like my moms cooking. I would recommend everyone to go try. Especially the tacos mhhhhmmm my favorite. And the salsa the flavor just quenches in my mouth. The place is all original. Go get some malos tacos

I’ve been looking for a good and authentic Mexican restaurant and I came across Mailo’s Tacos. The food was a huge portion for a cheap price and super delicious! I was actually surprised. Very friendly and accommodating staff! I’ll definitely be coming back. I don’t normally leave reviews but I thought this place deserved one. Props to Mailo and his family!
