Had lunch here , what a great meal ! We sat on the deck overlooking the river. Our server was attentive and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. The food was top of the line with generous amounts in every dish. Well worth stopping for a great meal.

We were recommended to Daniel’s for dinner. We sat in the restaurant area with river view seating. It’s a bit drafty by the windows, tables are crowded/ close seating and the seats arn’t very comfortable. The food was good but we didn’t find it to be worth what we paid. Beautiful presentation and size wasn’t too bad. We really enjoyed the homemade bread that came as a side on our dishes most of all.

I stopped here for a late lunch just as a snowstorm was arriving. It was not crowded with a few other tables filled. The wooden decor was appropriately tavern-y and there was even a lit candle on the table. The server was prompt, but the food wasn’t quite as quick, especially considering it was during the lull between lunch and dinner. The fish and chips was great, especially the slaw. The burger and fries were a bit overcooked. The hot chocolate was delicious! The total cost for two people was $75 with tip. The menu had a wide variety of dishes on it that I would like to be able to come back to try.

We had a very nice afternoon lunch here. Pleasant river views and very fast service from our waitress Sam. Mini crab cakes were larger than expected and came as a trio. Dave’s pasta was perfectly cooked with a nice vodka sauce. Loved the unexpected buttered knot that accompanied it. Pasta also came either choice of salad and soup. I ordered the soup du jour special of turkey and wild rice was excellent. Not too salty and very flavorful. Haddock was a little bland for the hubby. Baked potato was perfect especially since it was available for Saturday afternoon lunch. Happy to have a cloth napkin as well!

We had an amazing experience at Daniel’s Pub. We had their french onion soup to start and oh my was it AWESOME! We had the french dip and Reuben too for our sandwiches and those were excellent too. The bread tasted freshly baked!! From start to finish and including the atmosphere were all wonderful. We live an hour away but I would most definitely drive it JUST to go to Daniel’s again! To add to this our waitress was so kind and on top of everything. We will definitely be back …. and hopefully soon!

Second time we’ve been there and a great place to meet and eat . Plenty of window seats looking out on the river inside decor is replete with photos and interesting. Menu is excellent We had a nice young lady for a waitress but totally an experienced I’m sure she will pick up on it she had a decent attitude, and tried hard.
Quaint little town to walk around and spend an hour. Local ice cream shop next door that was good. Bakery around the corner but closes at 2:00 p.m.

The food was great! The service was great! But i found it to be a bit pricey. My daughter and I went for lunch. 2 fountain drinks, 1 appetizer, 1 soup, and 1 French onion dip sandwich. Grand total = $63.00 before our tip!

Condescending staff and what I mean by staff is the owner’s daughter overpriced food not a place. I’d recommend in Henniker. Sonny’s has much better food and much better ambience and they treat the customer a hell of a lot better. Any place in Henniker is better than Danielle’s.

Beautiful atmosphere however the food was subpar to say the least, the Caesar salad came coated in so much dressing that you could barley taste the salad, then crab cakes were Incredibly wet and the outside lacking any sort of difference in consistency, and last the main meal “chicken piccata” or their rendition on it? Which had no sauce or base to is, was covered on what I assume was jarred red peppers on top, once I picked it off left was a blan chicken breast with a wet gritty taste from being fried.

Kelsey is the best bartender but the standing ovation is the river right outside. Cozy house in the winter and beautiful for leaf peeping. Great spot to vacation at with the ski mountain and college. She’s the best.
